Aditya Danthanarayana – Wassane Premaya

Well this is a simple character analysis of Aditya the youngest son of the Danthanarayana family and I hope you all like it. To start with we all know pretty much nothing about Aditya even though we have grown to love him so much. We have of course seen flashbacks into Aditya’s life and it doesn’t look nice at all. We can all agree that Aditya does have a very tragic past. So let’s start to see what we know about him.

Aditya is somewhat of a rebellious son and obviously one naughty kid when he was small. Our first impression is that he is proud, stubborn and arrogant. However recently we have seen a very cute side of him when it comes to his crush on Astha. I really like all his roughness which freaks Astha as she is afraid of him. If you have watched Wassane Premaya from the beginning you will remember how Aditya never ever smiled. He used to always be in this angry mood and always hurt Astha. I hated Aditya at the beginning because he simply behaved as if he owned the whole dame world.

However, recently Aditya is showing a total new side of him which is becoming very popular with his fans. We saw him change his view on Astha when he went to the temple with her, and this is where he first smiled. He also mentioned about a woman named Shoba.  This woman I believe is his girlfriend who died in a road accident. It is probably due to this death that he started to hate women and also became so lonely. I also believe that Aditya’s mother was involved in this sudden death and Aditya knows this. So this may be why he hates his mother and continuously remind her that she is no longer his mother.

When it comes to Astha, Aditya has a real soft spot for her. We have continuously seen Aditya having real fun when spending time with Astha, this is a fact that even his older brother acknowledges. However I really don’t like the fact that Aditya doesn’t respect Astha. He always acts as if he is in control and this is very anti feminist of him. I mean come on Astha always being saved by Aditya just makes us loose faith in her character. The Astha we fell in love was a strong journalist but now she is just Aditya’s doll always waiting for him to save her.

Anyhow with Astha and Aditya’s marriage topic coming up things will get interesting. In a recent trailer we saw Astha telling her parents that she will tell Aditya that the marriage is off as her parents dislike him. Well this pretty much shows that she likes him very much. I have to point out that the script writers are being very creative right now and making us all engaged in the drama.
