Apple Crisp Pizza

JA3’S Cook Book.
Apple Crisp Pizza.
Ingredients:
Pastry for a single –crust pie
2/3 cup sugar
3 teaspoons all purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
4 medium baking apples, peeled and cut into ½ inches slices

Ingredients for the topping:

½ cups of all purpose flour
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ cup butter, softened

Method:

1.       Roll pastry to fit a 12 inch pizza pan; fold under or flute the edges.
2.       Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon in bowl. Then add apples and toss.
3.       Arrange the apples in a single layer in a circular pattern to completely cover pastry.
4.       Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle over apples.
5.       Bake at 350 degrees for 35 –40 minutes or until apples are tender.
6.       Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with caramel topping or dip.

7.       Serve warm with ice cream if desired. Enjoy this scrumptious dessert. 

Sri Lankan Style Mango Pickle

Sri Lankan style mango pickle.
INGREDIENTS:
4 raw mangoes
3 tablespoons of sugar
Salt as required
2 drops of pure virgin coconut vinegar (optional)
½ teaspoon of chilly powder
½ teaspoon of chilly pieces
Method:
1.       First peel the mangoes carefully and then cut the mangoes in to little square pieces. Make sure they are cut into tiny squares.
2.       Now put sugar, salt, vinegar, chilly and chilly powder and mix together.
3.       Leave it to be a little while.
Enjoy but beware, your tongue is at risk due to the fact that Sri Lankans love hot food...This is a recipe which will make your tongue burnJ
