Daskon episode 46 recap

Hi guys. School finishes in another 3 days. I will miss my friends like hell, especially my best friend. Well life goes on. So excited about going to watch Fast and Furious 7- I’m a huge fan.  I am going to read Inheritance straight after exams finish, had to postpone it so far because of these exams. Want to finish all this and feel free again. At least this time I could celebrate Vesak the proper way without non stop studying.

Now for recap:

The astrologer and the assistant have moved into a new cave. The assistant is roasting something.  The astrologer says give that to me, I am so hungry. The assistant says that I am burning the King’s head not something to eat. The astrologer says give that to me, how could we hide like this forever? The assistant says where I can I go to kill the King? The astrologer says the Royal Bathing Place that is where there is the least security. That is where Kundasala bathes. (Strange, how they call the King by his name when he was the Crown Prince).

The young Sangha and other Sanghas come to a village and all the people hide. No one offers them food. They all stand by the doors silently. The young Sangha sits down on a stone and starts to say Pirith. Slowly the people start coming out and sitting down to listen to the Pirith. He starts to say Bana telling the villagers about how Lord Buddha went house to house asking for alms when he first went to Kapilavasthu. How Lord Buddha told King Suddodana (Lord Buddha’s biological father) that all Buddha’s asked for alms. They all say “Sadu, Sadu, Sadu!!! “. They understood the Bana and the fact that alms should be provided to the Sangha.

The Noble Lady screams and says now look I boiled the water and all and now the Lady has come to take a dip in the river. She shouts at the servant who sings and says don’t you have a brain to tell that mother’s shouldn't take dips in the river at this time. If she gets sick it is bad for the Prince. The servant who sings smiles and says I told her but she wants me to sing for her. The servants say then go and sing suddenly she changes her mind and says wait till I come. They start the song and it’s so beautiful.  They have a lot of fun laughing and singing around.

Scene changes and we see the First Queen Consort taking a bath. Her servants help her take of her jewelry. She takes her hair pin off and flips her hair and look at the King who is sitting on a rock with Daskon who sits looking the other way. The King says all women are innocent in reply Daskon says all men are not cunning. The King says when I see this river I remember the waterfall in Matala (his mind is always on the Noble Lady).The King smiles, the First Queen Consort is not at all having fun the way the Noble Lady/ the Second Queen Consort has…..to be continued next week…..

Precap:

 The Gong sounds. The First Queen Consort asks Daskon why the King is not coming to her chambers- she seems to be in her night gown. The Maha Sangha tells the good minister that the King is getting to close to the Catholic father. The Noble Lady’s/ Second Queen Consort’s father agrees to this and they all go into the temple to hold a discussion. The assistant gets ready to kill the King, he sharpens a wooden pole. The King’s mother and grandfather want to take the King and the First Queen Consort to Thirirpathi kovil to take blessing so that the woman would get a child. The father doesn’t like this and he says no. (I think he wants to make his son the King). The King asks Daskon to come with him to go to an important place. That evening they go out somewhere on horses. The First Queen Consort sings and asks why the King does not show interest in her.
