Drama Queen

Hi guys. Happy Vesak everyone.  Exams starting soon and I am freaked out. Next poya day would be Poson and by that time I yet have 3 more exams to go.  Nothing more though but go and watch Daredevil it is suppose to be very very good. Anyway he is one of my favorite superheroes. I am one of the few who liked the Daredevil movie with Ben Affleck and I hoped they would make a better movie especially with a better ending.  Why the hell did Mayweather have to win that match…ah that was a big let down.  Well let’s get down to biz.

Now for the recap:

The King asks what the drum was. A catholic father explains that the drummer’s name is Alaginayuthim. He says that he is a person who sang and danced. He is at the moment teaching it to some of the Haburankatha children. The King says that the drummer should be given a gift.  He gets up to go. Pramila’s father says that they have to speak about Saranankara Samanara’s school. The King says yes the astrologers are coming tomorrow to give a complaint against him. He continues to ask whether he knows anything about Saranankara Samanara’s “silwath samagama”, when Pramila’s father cannot answer. The King says poke your nose to thinks that you understand.    Pramila’s father is offensed. The King says we will see about that tomorrow.

The good minister’s friend comes to tell him that there will be fire in the Palace. The good minister says Ah yes that was done long time ago. The friend says I am not talking about something that happened before!!!! I am talking about something that will happen in the future.

Some random Hindu Veda is muttering something in his language in front of the Palace. The guards tell him that they don’t understand anything that he is saying. The astrologer’s come and they smile at the Veda and go in to the Palace. The guards bow before them as if they are Buddhist Monks.

The good minister wants to talk about Saranankara Samanara.   The King says haven’t the astrologers come. The good minister looks shocked. The King asks the MahaAdikaram whether it isn’t against the laws to talk about a mere Samanara before the great astrologers. The MahaAdikaram says well a Samanara ( a trainee monk who hasn’t yet attained Monkhood) is technically equal to a Monk so yes you can speak about a Samanara before an astrologer. The King says anyway good minister you wait until I speak to the astrologers.

The astrologers come and they say they cannot work together as they don’t  like each other. The Sangha according to them have told the people not to worship astrologers or even give alms. The King says now it is your chance good minister. The good minister points out that astrologers are not the Sangha even though they live in Temples and look after Buddhist books. The astrologers say that they cannot live with each other. It is either them or the astrologers. The King says we will ask a foreigner. The Catholic father is asked to tell what he believes. He speaks of how Christianity was divided and stuff and how the differences in clothes and stuff tell the people who are who. The King says now tell us astrologers what you think?  He astrologer says well the Sangha are the ones who started a new and they should wear a head band or a head gear to cover their heads. The good minister gets pissed off and gets up and shouts and says I hope that this council will not insult Buddhism or Lord Buddha……..to be continued tomorrow…

The Gong is sounded.

Saranankara Samanara comes to the main hall and everyone worships him. Daskon is given a Niyagala flower by Pramila (Niyagala is deadly poison.) She doesn’t know this.  She sings a song for him. They are very happy. All the ministers fall before Saranankara Samanara and Sadu! Sadu! Sadu! echoes thorough the great Palace Halls. 

Hello dear blog readers. Mission Impossible 5 is out. I was waiting for this from mission impossible 4. I personally believe that Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner are the best combination ever.  This year is one of the best movie years ever!!!!! Jurassic Park is also coming out and OMg I was waiting my whole teenage hood for this one!!!  Exams start in 27 days and I am studying hard but not that hard that I can’t come to my blogJ Yes there are some major changes on my blog but I hope you like it. I now have two Google Plus accounts now and both are active…those who are following my posts can keep on doing from my old profile while the new one is also available. I wish all my readers a Happy Vesak.  Also I so hope the new English Princess would be named Diana because no matter what Princess Diana was a very kind loving person- she was a person whom all the girls could look up to no matter the other things.  Anyway let’s get down to biz.

Now for recap:

The First Queen Consort is having fun and Daskon is there too. They are sitting together. They are going to Siri Patha. She asks why the King never goes there. They keep talking. The Queen Consort says how they did four pujas but never got results.  Daskon says nothing wrong will happen to Pramila (he is using her first name). She says that the King is so upset that he has started to drink. Pramila says she is afraid. She says that every time the King comes to meet her he is drunk. By this time they are both standing very close. The good minister’s friend looks on and he is up to no good. I think he is thinking they are romantically bond or something…

Saranankara Thero and the Sangha come and start their studies. Everyone repeats. The good minister, Pramila’s father and the Kappitipola come to watch. The little Prince says some words out of order.  The Thero gets up. The Thero tells young Kappitipola to come and teach the students (the little Prince, Pramila’s brother and a noblemen’s son) and the Samanaras (young monks who haven’t attain Sanghahood yet).  Young Kappitipola starts his lesson. He does look very handsomeJ  Saranankara Thero and the ministers go alone to talk. Everyone says that the Thero is doing very good service to Sasana.  The Thero says that astrologers are taking over the Sasana. Pramila’s father has converted into Buddhism. He says he will talk about this to the King before the astrologers reach the Palace. However he says that he does not know much about the Sasana as he is not a born Buddhism. The good minister says yes now a day a born Buddhist cannot meet the King. Kappitipola nilama says WHAT HAS BECOME OF OUR COUNTRY (suits this time too no?).

The King listens to the Catholic father’s music. Pramila’s father is there too. The King enjoys the music. After it ends he asks what kind of a drum the drummer is playing. The catholic father says tat he is from India and came with the people who came for Pramila’s puja. He tells the drummers name and the King starts to ask him something...the Catholic father jumps in…..to be continued tomorrow… From here on I am calling the First Queen Consort by her first name Pramila…

Hello people. Welcome to another one of my recaps. Well my family is finding houses I am studying my ass off. Well first I am shocked at what happened in Nepal. RIP for the 2000+ people who died due to that earthquake. My heart felt condolences to all the family members. May the Triple Gems guard those who survived this earthquake. Also my deepest condolences to a friend of mine who’s father departed.  May he be born in a better palace in his next life and so may it be for all the victims of the Nepal earthquake. The next big thing in Sri Lanka is the Kurunagala rally. Also good news as Kushal Janith is in good form but hey we are loosing test status...Ahhhhh... Did u guys hear Navin Dissanayaka? He is like if an interim committee was there before why can’t I have one now… OMg what a fool. In 2012 ICC banned Interim committees’ idiot!!!!! Ahg this is Yahapalanaya? Putting people who don’t know basic rules of ICC and for godsake does he even know where the onside is? Put me as the minister of sport I know more than him!!!!!!

The Catholic Father gets an advisory post..

The Catholic priest and the First Consort’s father are given positions in the council. The Catholic priest is given an advisory post –one of the highest of its time. The father is given another main post.  Everyone is shocked. All the ministers watch the King go. They all stare at the King’s throne. Time passes…………………..5 years after the decision is shown…

 

Daskon listens to all this...

The Palace is shown the guards are guarding the main gates.  The scene changes to the King’s favorite river. The assistant like a Veda stands watching it. He catches a fish. He then goes towards the forest and kills a rabbit he takes both to their hid out. As soon as he tries to kill the rabbit the astrologer says let this sinner die and burn in hell.  The assistant gets angry. The astrologer then tells Bana about how Lord Buddha was born as a rabbit in a former life. The assistant looks at the cute rabbit (we have wild rabbits in our village in Matara- they are so cute). He lets it go.  The astrologer chants the five prefects. Panathi patha weramani sitha pathan samathiyani…. The rabbit happily runs away.

The King’s grandfather from his mother’s side is doing a Hindu puja on a boy.  He is the First Queen Consort’s brother? He is going to the temple for his education. 

On the other hand the Noble Lady’s Little Prince is worshiping his mother saying the gatha. He then explains the meaning of it. He then turns towards the Palace which is like 100 kilometers away from their home. He says the gatha for the father while worshiping that side. It is so cute as he has a lisp as he is small and cute.  He then worships his grandmother and runs towards his grandfather. His grandfather hugs him and says my little prince.  He then says that the little Prince should study and not become a Kundasala but become a Wimaladaramasuriya. The Noble Lady looks sad. The little Prince then says Kappitipola siyai, Wimaladaramasuriya siyai – siyai +siyai = desiyai. Ok we say siyai to hundred as well as for hundred so two siyai = to two hundred -this is a clever pun. Our little Prince is very clever. They get into a covered carriage as this is the Prince who is going and they then go to school/ temple to learn….to be continued….next week…

Precap:

The gong is played. The good minister’s friend sees Daskon and the First Queen Consort having a lover’s talk – standing really close also. Saranakara Thero calls Young Kappitipola who has grown big and cute :)  The good minister says that it is time for Sarankara Thero to be introduced to the King. Hindu priests have started to sing in front of the Palace - Hindu’s in Sankadagala? Yah I know that is super abnormal. The astrologers come and complain that the Sangha are a headache for them and that they can’t live together. The good minister gets pissed off and says I hope that Buddhism will be safeguarded by this council. The good minister’s friend gets pissed off and tries to hit the astrologers – as usual J He reminds me of T.M Dilshan and the good minister reminds me of SangaJ

Hello people …I am back with my recap. I still haven’t got any answer for my request for an English recap of West Palace Korean Drama on ITN.  I am just saying consider it cause there is a demand for it. SL cricket is going to be banned well that’s Yahapalanaya for you guys. The CHANGE really helped didn't it...Thank god that Sanga and Mahela retired because I don’t want them to suffer. Fast and Furious 8 is coming out in 2017. Avengers is going to come out in sections like the Hobbit. Anyway the Avengers are to die at least in the comic. Then comes the NEXT Avengers with all the Avenger’s sons and daughters...Thor has a daughter named Thorun. The only avengers who survive are Hawkye, Thor, Hulk and Iron man. Ya that might sound like everyone to u guys but Marvel has so many Avengers in the comic version. Ah yes and Vision survives too.  One question I always wanted to ask Marvel was why they don’t have Black Panther in the Avengers. I mean his love for Storm and his son Arize is enough of a story line.  Anyway let’s get to biz…

Now to Recap:

The King tries to jump into the water. Daskon screams stop. The King screams why? Daskon says he saw a dragonfly fly on the water. The King gives him this look like WTF? Daskon says he can’t be on the surface of the water without dying. He gets into the water to investigate. He then sees all the sticks on the river bed which would kill anyone who jumps in. Daskon shows this to the King. Just the First Queen Consort’s foot is pulled from under the water by the assistant. Daskon carries her in his arms and carries her near the bank where he takes her into her arms as she is unconscious – cute scene.  Daskon orders the river and the river to be checked.  The soldiers jump in and the assistant is still under water breathing through a bamboo stick.

 

The second Queen Consort/Noble Lady crying..and her servants

The Queen Consort is taken to the doctor the King watches on. Nothing is wrong with her she is only frightened. She wakes up to see the King next to her smiling. She wakes ups and says I am ok. She says I am happy that you are here with me. She takes her hand next to his. He slowly takes his hand away. The King says my shadow saved me. The Queen Consorts asks Daskon? The King says yes and tells her how the plan was to take place.

The Noble Lady gets up with a shock. Her servant tells her to sleep again. She tells her to tell her about this coup.  The servant repeats everything and she comes to the part where she says the First Queen Consort was also going to be killed. The Noble Lady doesn’t seem disturbed. The servant takes the noble Lady near her and tells her to keep her head on her shoulder. With this she chants Pirith to calm her down to sleep as she keeps sobbing and crying.

The Palace entrance is shown. The ministers are all in the Hall. Surprisingly the Catholic father is also there – Mmm..  The King keeps shouting saying that the ministers are trying to kill him. The MahaAdikaram says that is a lie. The King gets angry. The good minister wakes up and says My Lord it was also these ministers saved you both times. The King smiles and puts his hands on the good minister’s shoulders- he trusts the good minister. One of the ministers asks why the assassin was not caught. Daskon says that he was helping the First Queen Consort at that time. The good minister’s friend says well it seems well planned I am suspicious. The MahaAdikaram says mind what you says. The King goes near his throne and says I am going to make a change in this council. The Catholic father  and the First Queen Consort’s father gets up smiling and thanking….OMg what is going to happen…well wait for tomorrow’s recap…

                Hello guys our favorite Sri Lankan Historical Drama just passed half a century. Well exams start in a month’s time. Freaked out like hell. First exam is sociology wanna give my best for that…well lets see. Anyway now that I have started quick recaps with not much detail only for these few months until exams finish. Anyway let us get down to business.A certain bitch said no, what a bitch....

Now for the recap:

The First Queen Consort is taking a bath. Her servant applies sandalwood and other herbal pastes on her body. She wants to be beautiful but come on the Noble Lady looks far more beautiful after taking washes in the river. The servant wants the First Queen Consort to leave this country as it is not there country and she starts to cry. The Consort says don’t cry, we will be fine you leave now. The Consort gets on bed and starts singing.

The assistant and the astrologer push sharpened sticks down the river. The assistant goes down the river and disappears while the astrologer watches on.

The King wants to go to his bathing place. Daskon smiles. He reads his poetry to the King.

The good minister and his friend talk of how the King no longer is interested in doing his Kingly duties. 

Today also he is at his bathing place. The good minister’s friend says that Daskon is a genetic orphan.  How can he become this country’s MahaAdikaram? They both think whether they gave ginger and took chilly as Yalagoda/ bad minister was after all a Sinhalese. The good minister says it is the Sinhalese who are orphans. The church in Haburankatha is filled with Catholics. The good minister says from the coast line we are captured by the Portuguese, the Wadduga’s in Sankadagala and Catholics in Haburankatha. The friend says I did a gurukama (black magic spell) it is for the Catholic Church. The good minister says no and leaves. The friend looks on and we hear a monstrous scream.

The King takes a bathe with the Queen Consort and her ladies. Daskon watches on. He elates to us how the King is known as the playful King by his people. We see a full on shot of the King’s six packs ;) ……to be continued next week...

Precap:

The Gong sounds. The Noble Lady gets shock and wake ups. Someone has tried to kill the King and the First Queen Consort by drowning them. Everyone is shocked after hearing this. Daskon is the one who dived in and saved them. The King wants to change the ministers. Everyone is shocked and we see how our Nilama’s fought war for the King but yet are going to be changed. The friend of the good minister says all this looks well planned I suspect you to Daskon who is pissed off. The King is pissed off… Time passes….some one calls a name and a little Prince comes out dancing it is the First Queen Consort’s brother. Then we see a cute… cute… cute little prince who is the Noble Lady’s son. Someone tells that he should be taught well….OMg this drama is so interesting. Let us see the little Prince next week…this is a moment I waiting for <3LOVE IT<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3
