The Indian epic Ramayana on Swaranawahini after Mahabharat

.

Well guys we have all heard a lot of Rama and Sita and how Hanuman helps them. Yes we know it very well as Ravana was from Sri Lanka. The story will be shown every weekday at 7.00 pm on Swaranawahini very soon.

Mahabharat is ending as you all know. The Pandavas would win the war and Karna would die in the hands of Arjuna.  Krishna of course will help the Pandavas as they are fighting the bad forces. I am a big fan of Karna and believe that he is a great hero. I mean he was betrayed by his own mother Kunti. She only came back to tell him that he is the son of the Sun God Surya and her only to save her sons the Pandavas.
I liked the fact that Dhrupathi however always admired Karna and kind of loved him. Even the fact that Karna never betrayed Dhuryodan made me respect him. It was only Dhuryodan who gave him the place he deserved and therefore Karna stayed loyal to him. I never actually like Arjuna anyway
Karna from Mahabharat

Anyhow Ramayana was shown on Zee TV unlike Mahabharat which was shown on Star Plus. Ramayana has Gagan Malik acting as Rama. We know Gagan Malik very well as he acted as Prince Siddhartha in the sensational hit Shri Siddhartha Gautama. He also embraced Buddhism straight after this hit film.
The story line would go as we all know and will end with the death of Ravana the evil King from Lanka. Rama will go back to his Kingdom however there will be questions asked about Sita’s purity and thus she will be living in the woods with Rama’s twins. The series will be only 56 episodes and will of course end quickly.

I myself don’t watch the series fully this is because I watch “The Moon Embraces the Sun” on Rupavahini from 6.30 to 7.30. Anyhow these are good series with religious value so why not give a try? Of Course I have read Mahabharat adaptations and was always interested in watching it. So if you are not a fan of Korean dramas then that time could be invested in watching this series of epic Indian religious themed dramas.
