Daskon episode 44 recap

Hello…tomorrows my sociology exams and I couldn’t finish studying ….to much to study in to little time...The Port City project is going ahead it seems. Well so said certain people. Aussie won the World Cup and said it’s a win for Phil and that was so sweet of them. NZ just collapsed because they couldn’t handle pressure – I knew this was going to happen. Well good luck to them – and bye....bye Clarke…


Now for the recap:

The King and the Queen Consort smile at each other. He doesn’t seem to miss the Noble Lady. The Queen Consort says Ohariya and the King looks confused.  She turns to show her Osari. The King sees the Noble Lady instead of the Queen Consort. He understands that he loves her more than the Queen Consort. He looks sad and walks away from her and sits down. He doesn’t like being in her room. He says that she should take rest. He doesn't want to be with her. He feels awkward and calls Daskon with a fake sense of humor.  He arrives and Daskon and the Queen consort flirt with their words. Saying how she was afraid and how she is not so now. How she wanted so badly to see him in his nilama outfit. Daskon understand that the King is feeling awkward.  He quickly says that she shouldn’t be afraid now that the King is here with here. The King gives another fake smile. He gets up and says you should take rest and leaves. The Queen Consort is hurt. Daskon feels for her and both of them remember her sudden poem she sang for Daskon. (She loves Daskon and yet she is jealous of the Noble Lady – she is a bitch).


  The Sangha are going on Pinapatha (to beg for alms). They speak of how the people no longer know about Buddhism and how things are done. The main Sangha says well it is not their fault they haven’t even seen a Sangha in a long time. The temples are taken over by astrologers and they are called astrologer homes. Now they only believe in astrologers. Another Sangha says well when the good minister takes you to the King things will change. The main Sangha says we need a plan before we meet the King. They speak how this forest used be a prestigious town before and how everything is taken over by the forest, even temples. They all get up and walk away.


The astrologer and assistant are shocked when they see their hid out destroyed. The assistant takes Patiya Bandara’s plate and worships it and says I swear upon this plate that I will take vengeance.

Precap:

The Catholic father plays for the King and Queen Consort, Daskon watches on happily. On the other hand when Saranankara Thero goes to villages for alms the villagers run away and hid. Atheism prevails in Sankadagala the City with the Temple of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. The assistant curses and asks the astrologer where he could find him and kill him (I think he is talking about the King).  Bakpathini the servant, who sings, sings a beautiful song as the Noble Lady/ 2nd Queen Consort and her waiting ladies enjoy themselves at the waterfall. They have a lot of fun bathing and singing.

Daskon episode 43 recap

Well here comes another weekend. Fast and Furious 7 is to be shown from the 1st of May – watch it for Paul Walker. Tomorrow is the match and I am fully supporting New Zealand. I mean Brendon McCollum he deserves a world cup.  GO NZ GO!! GO NZ GO!!! The Heirs ended yesterday and that means no more Korean dramas on TV Derana anymore. Sad I miss Tan and Yondo…. Loved Lee Min Ho’s and Kim Woobin’s’ acting. Well let see what happens tomorrow. Well since Yahapalana is stretching for another 3 months we shouldn’t talk about tat crap. Ratnapura rally was awesome. Mahinda sir is coming back because we want it back!!!! Ok so lets talk about the drama today…ah... and Strike Back season 4 is starting from tomorrow…..

Now for the recap:

The army raids the hid out. Nobody is there at first but women come out in white. They cry saying don’t hurt us. They are taken as prisoners and their entire thing are burnt. They are told to tell where the traitors are for otherwise they will be killed. They are all taken away.


The servant who to Daskon’s ring comes to meet him. She looks a bit scared. She says the noble Lady is going to her noble house today. She just came to say good bye to Daskon. Daskon comes out in his old clothes and says well the King and I will miss the Noble Lady. (I told you guys there is romance in the air here. Daskon is being overly kind to this girl? I don’t know.). She gives the ring back to him. She says that I can't sing anymore poems with this sadness. He says then sing sad songs all the way from Haburankatha Palace to Matala wallawa. She looks at him with tears in her eyes and starts to sing.

With the song The Noble Lady comes out of the Palace. Daskon looks from inside the Palace. While the Noble Lady walks towards the entrance with her servants, The King walks along with her on the corridor but she doesn't look. (this is a great shot) She is angry. The song continues and it has the following meaning:

My lord have I done something wrong to you?
Am I of lower caste? Am I not enough for you? Is there something less in me?
Is my child is less for you? Have you no love or respect for me?


They all leave the Palace. The Noble Lady and her mother are taken in carriages while the servants all go in bullock carts. The servant continues to sing. The Noble Lady looks up looking strong and trying to not feel hurt.

The song continues and the Haburankatha Palace is made to celebrate the arrival of that bitch called Queen Consort.  Everything is cleaned and new things put.  A red carpet is put and she arrives on it putting her feet exactly on the golden lotuses.

The King arrives at her end of the Palace which is guarded by two female guards with spears.  She sees him and shows her Osari (Sri Lankan version of the sari). He looks and says I can only see the beauty of your shawl. She says well like Queen Kuveni my mother stitched me this. Do you like my hariya? The King is confused and says hariya?..............to be continued tomorrow…..

Daskon episode 42 recap

Hello guys. The situation in Sri Lanka is laughable. West Palace is very boring. The so called god damn Yahapalana camp’s taxes on foreign dramas caused all Korean dramas due to be showed on TV to be cancelled. I curse them just for this. Then today they started something they call the “National Government” which allows them to stay for 3 months more. So the 100 day program will be prolonged to 3 months. Well what are the dummies who voted for the “CHANGE” say now? This they did because there are more and more people rallying behind our President Mahinda Rajapkshe. I curse the “CHANGE “for this too. To make things worse a so called teacher shouted at an innocent victim because she made a mistake which she hates to admit. What is the World coming to? Well there is good news :) I go a new laptop an Hp Compaq nx9040.

Now to the recap:


Haburankatha Palace is shown. The MahaAdikaram and the noble Lady’s father speak how they are aging. Kappitipola nilama the noble Lady’s father  is told to take the noble Lady to their own noble home just because that bitch called Queen consort is coming. The nilama is badly affected. He doesn't like the way it is all done.


The assistant is hiding. The army is finding for someone. The have gone to the astrologer’s house. He has three children. The mother gets a shock when the army smashes their door open. They tell them to send her husband straight to the King’s court to be put in jail. The children are so scared and so is their mother. They all stammer and say that he has not been seen from the day of the rebel.  The commander threatens to burn them alive in their house if they try to hide a traitor. After the military people leave the assistant says that they should hid in the forest. He asks so where is the astrologer? His wife says in that box over there. The assistant tells all the tortures that are given to the rebels. The astrologer and assistant decided to hide in the forest. The mother and children are to stay in the house.

The King comes into the Place. He keeps looking at the noble Lady. He comes closer to her and she worships him. She says that Queen Kuveni left her Palace and the Kin watches on. She cries. He says that his mind is the same for him, no matter of tradition and Royal laws. She says the Prince will find it hard to live without the King. He says me to. There is not a day where I don’t miss his sweet milk smell. The baby is given to the King. He sings the little Prince the lullaby and smiles.

The army watches out for the rebels. They all search the forests. The commander orders them to surround the rebel’s former hiding place. The commander screams come out you traitors in the name of our King….to be continued next week…
Precap:
The servant gives Daskon his ring back. He says put it in your finger. She starts another of her poems. The noble Lady is sent out of the Palace. Everyone cries. They head back to their noble home. The noble Lady looks very angry and very hurt. The bitch/Queen Consort comes to Haburankatha all proud. She walks on golden coloured lotuses.  The assistant curses the King’s whole generation.

Daskon episode 41 recap

Age of Ultron coming out soon and I can’t wait.  West Palace started today and it looks old. It was alright. Let’s just say I liked Jodha Akbar better.  I mean it might get better as Lee Young Ae comes into the drama. I do not like the actor who plays King Gwanghae.  Since there is no Korean Drama shown after The Heirs on Derana Tv I would recommend Sujatha on Sirasa Tv at the same time – a review will be done on it as soon as possible after my examsJ

Now for the recap:

The Maha Sangha waits for the good minister. Daskon’s parade is seen coming from far. With an emotional song the good minister comes alone on his famous white horse. The Maha Sangha was going to ring the temple bell when the good minister came but he stops the villagers from ringing it. The god minister comes and worships the monks. After wishing him, the villagers see that the good minister has not got the great title or rank.

Daskon’s parade arrives at his mother’s house. He worships his mother in the Buddhist way. They take him inside. The Catholics start singing for Daskon. He is happy. He thanks them.  A Catholic church is to be built in Kandy. Daskon and his family are Catholics.  A Tamil drummer wants to teach the Sinhalese in Kandy/ Sankadagala Tamil songs / drumming methods. Daskon looks disturbed.



The Queen Consort is given a Sri Lankan /Kandyan sari by her mother. She wants to look more beautiful than the noble Lady. They don’t like the fact that the noble Lady got to stay at Haburankatha Palace. They have spoken to the King and the MahaAdikaram to get her moved into her noble home. They are very bad jealous people.



The Haburankatha Palace is shown……to be continued tomorrow…..very short episode today...may be tomorrow’s episode will be longer.

Witches of East End on Art TV

Hello blog readers today I am going to recommend a new TV series. Witches of East End is that must watch sexy witch story that everyone enjoys. It is very different from most witch stories. It follows the story of the Beauchamp family who are all witches and warlocks
Freya Beauchamp is the young daughter of Joanna Beauchamp who is the leader of the family. She has been born for the last 400 years with two men in her life, the Gardiner brothers. One of these brothers is Freya’s soul mate the other her nemesis.  Killian Gardiner played by  Daniel Di Tomasso is Freya’s soul mate while her nemesis is Dash Gardiner who is played by Eric Winter.






The whole of the first season is all about Freya and her mission on finding who the right man for her is. Her marriage is with Dash but her love and sexual attraction is to Killian. Her feelings are torn between these two men. At first the Gardiner brothers do not have magic power but later on it is found out their mother stole it from them at birth. So in the end the two brothers’ get their magic powers.


The second season has a whole new take where it is said that if Freya and Killian marry their lives would be destroyed. It also removes the play boy image around dashing Killian- the sexy warlock.

Overall I believe Witches of East End is a must watch for all. I mean it is not a family series but is a drama for young adults. It was cancelled last year by Life – which showed it. Of course fans stood up against which includes Channing Tatum and Snooki. So that may be more of a sound recommendation than mine. It is kind of like the new Bold and the Beautiful on TV. Anyway ART TV showed the first season on its channel every weekend at 6.00pm and now luckily for us they are showing the last season too. Trust me it is a must watch.

No more Korean Dramas on Tv Derana anymore

Guys this is BREAKING NEWS. After the Heirs finishes within this week then Tv Derana is showing a Sri Lankan drama. This is mainly because of the Yahapalana government imposing taxes on foreign dramas. According to this law all foreign dramas will have to pay a high tax.


This law is not imposed on dramas shown on Rupavahini and ITN. We all know that they usually show outdated or historical dramas. This is because they show dramas with intellectual value.

This means Swaranawahini will also probably stop showing Korean dramas after "Thatu Ahimi Samanali/ My Girl". So now Korean Dramas will only be shown on Swaranawahini, Rupavahini and ITN.



The rumor at first was that Derana was going to show City Hunter or Playful Kiss  after Heirs but now it has all changed. So what will happen to all K Drama fans out here. N other channel will show KDramas after this if the tax is too high. What will come of all the Lee Min Ho oppa, Kim Beom and Ji Hoo oppa fans out here.


This is a pretty sad situation as we, the youth are not given what we want. I am not meaning Sri Lankan dramas are not awesome. What I mean is that KDrama showed us a different world which was not there in Sri Lankan Dramas.

Whatever it is this is sad news for all Kdrama fans out in Sri Lanka. Hope things take a better turn and that Derena will show KDramas at a different time. Lets hope for the best.

Daskon episode 40 recap

Helloo people Sri Lanka goes head to head against South Africa on the 18th. We have a very good chance to win. Come on Sri Lanka!!!!!! We need another hundred from SangaJ. My Girl is also going to finish but in about two months as it is shown only on Saturdays and Sundays. The Heirs is seeing its last 2 weeks. With the new law that you need to pay high taxes against foreign dramas – there is a high chance Tv Derana will show a Sri Lankan drama. Let us hope for the best. They will most probably bring City Hunter or Playful Kiss – let us seeJ

Now to recap:

Daskon shouts keep the food outside I will come outside and eat. They want him to come out. Daskon comes out wearing the official nilama outfit. The servants are shocked.  The food is sent indoors. Daskon says the food at Monnarawila wallawa are the best. They say that the Royal Palace’s recipe book was sung to them as poems by the Kumarihamy. Daskon tells them to sing and that he will give the girl a gift. She starts to sing beautifully. Daskon claps and gives the girl a pearl and gold ring he was wearing to Daskon. She starts to weep. I don’t know why but the gesture was romantic – maybe because the girl was pretty. She keeps looking at him and him at her.


The main Palace in Haburankatha is shown. Daskon and the King come in to the main hall. The Queen consort’s father says that I told you to that this dress would be worn by you someday. He says he is happier than all of them. The good minister looks disgusted. The King starts to commence the meeting. The King praises the good minister and Daskon for the good deeds they did during the rebel. The King was saved by the good minister while the Queen consort was saved by Daskon. Both of them are asked to come forward.


The King steps forward. The good minister is given a governorship to a village. He starts to speak of the minister seat left by the bad minister. He says I will give this to Daskon. Everyone is shocked even the second Queen consort’s father.
The temple is gotten ready for the good minister’s arrival as a MahaAdikaram. The main Sangha speak of how whippers will announce his arrival………………To be continued next week…..


Precap: The Queen consort arrives at Haburankatha. The second Queen consort is shocked. Daskon arrives at his mother’s house – she is a burgher. The Catholic priests sing at Daskon’s mother’s house. The second Queen consort worships the King and asks him to take her with him. He just looks and says that he will come again to see her. The Queen consort’s father says that even though the Kandyan Kings have two Queen Consorts one has more power than the other. – I really don’t like Daskon anymore – he did not deserve the nilama seat. It was the good minister who saved the King- he deserved itL

Daskon episode 39 recap

Hello blog readers. The CHANGE saw a shocker yesterday when one of their kin was caught red handed in BOC corruption scandal. Well Cinderella is shown all over the country and from the reviews it is suppose to be good. I mean the animation version was a hit even when my sis was a kid. It is a must watch for you guys- trust me some say it is better than 50 Shades of Gray with Christian looking like a corrupted school boyJ

Now to Recap: 


The King drinks the Portuguese brandy with Daskon watching on. The King says now I know what real thirst is. The King looks dangerous…

Patiya says wait till I place my neck for you to cut through it. The knife is yours but the neck is mine. He cries my mother it is because of you that I feel sad. The feeling for my mother is far greater than any other feeling. He screams watch King Wimaladharamasuriya’s royal blood flow away. He hears the lullaby his mother sang to him before the coup. He imagines that the piece of wood he is to keep his head to die as his mother’s lap. Thinking this he starts to sing the same lullaby. Everyone watching cries even the little kids. He says kill me now.


Patiya’s mother hears him scream “MY MOTHER!!”  The Catholic priests sing to her about mother’s love. The assistant starts to cry. They blame the whole thing on the King. She continuous to see Patiya being tortured will the song goes on. She sees happier moments and her eyes close. The assistant cries “My Queen!” she dies.  A cross is lifted on top of her grave. They pray and leave.

The good minister watches as the monks go to get alms, the main Sangha watches on and smiles at the good minister. The good minister worships the Sangha.
The Sangha says “we thought you will arrive after the Palace meeting.” The good minister says no I thought I should come here before that. The Sangha continuous to say well we hear that you will be getting the MahaAdikaram post. The good minister smiles and says I just told the King what was going to happen and then protested him. The Sangha point out well a lover of the country is better than a traitor. The good minister says well Patiya was not a learned person, all around him were astrologists. The temples have all gone to them rather than to the Sangha. He says all the Sangha are now becoming astrologers.  

That is why we like the idea of you being a MahaAdikaram, we need someone strong to speak for us and bring Buddhist monks from abroad to reestablish the Sasana in the Kandyan Kingdom. Now it is that Catholic father’s music that comes out of the Palace rather than Pirith. The good minister says I have an idea to introduce the young Sangha to the Palace. The Maha Sangha says not right now, people are having religious problems let us wait till the time is right.

The noble Lady’s servants try to wake up Daskon and tell him to eat. Finally he comes out wearing a nilama’s official clothing…………to be continued tomorrow…

Must watch Historical K Dramas of the 2000's

The Korean wave took over Sri Lanka in 2013 with Sujatha Diyani. It was a big hit and just like Oshin it is the pinnacle of Dubbed dramas in Sri Lanka.  Today I am going to give you guys a list of must watch Historical K-Dramas.

11)    Dae Jang Guem / Jewel of the Palace (2003)

This story follows a young girl who aspires to be the head chef in the King’s Palace. Due to destiny she takes a liking for medicine. This takes her on a long journey which finally leads to her being the first doctor to operate a person in Korea. This story shows determination, hard work, friendship, gender equality,true love and happiness.

2)    Dong Yi/ Jewel of the Crown (2010)

Done by the same director of Jewel of the Palace this follows the story of a low maid. Dong Yi was just a servant in the Music Department before she fell in love with King Sukjong. She later becomes the mother of one of the greatest Kings of Korea King Yeongjo. This story shows us that caste or class does not matter for greatness and that the only thing that mattered was being yourself. Dong Yi was the kind of girl who spread love and happiness to everyone and due to this she was blessed. King Sukjong loved her because of her honesty. This story shows true love, happiness, gender equality, friendship and determination and honesty.

   3)Yi San/ Wind of the Palace(2007)

This follows the story of Yi San the grandson of Dong Yi. He later became one of the greatest Kings of Korea King Jeongjo. This follows the story of a Prince who had enemies in the Palace. His father Crown Prince Sado was killed by his Grandfather King Yeongjo. It of how a young Prince grows up to be an intelligent good King. Of course there is a love triangle as all KDramas.

4)    King’s Doctor/Horse Doctor (2012)

Follows the story of Baek Kwang-hyun and how from being a horse doctor he becomes the King’s doctor. It shows his low for his childhood friend who is a high caste lady. This story shows sacrifices for love, determination, hard work, and honesty, a lot of blood, friendship and loyalty. This too is from the say director of the above 3 dramas.

5)    Jumong (2006)


This story follows Jumong and how he becomes the ruler of the kingdom of Goguryo. It shows love, sacrifice and honesty. This is a hugely popular drama around the world. It shows how a cowardly young man could become a great ruler with intelligence and strength.  

6)    Goddess of Fire (2013)


Follows the story of Jung Yi and how she becomes the first ceramic artist of Korea. She was later taken to Japan as a prisoner during the Korea Japan war during the Josean Dynasty. It shows her love for Prince Gwanghae. Kim Beom acts in this drama. He is the other lover in the love triangle. It shows how sacrifices should be made for the safety your love ones and country. It promotes gender equality and how hard work makes anything possible.

7)    Queen Seondeok (2009)

Lets just say this is an awesome story. It show show extereme power and hunger for power can destroy you. The Silla Royal family Princess Deokman is the only one with her twin sister who can stop the evil power hungry Lady Mishil.  She is the only one who can create a better future for the Three Kingdoms. This drama shows love, sisterly bond, revenge and sacrifice.

8)    Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010)


The drama is about a girl who disguises herself as a boy to get into the most prestigious university of Josean era. It shows friendship at its best, love and youth. It shows how caste or class or titles are never important but who you are and what you end up doing is important.

9)    Night Watch Man’s Journal (2014)

This is a story about a rebellious Prince who takes up duties as a night watchman. He has the ability to see ghosts and so he saves his people from them. Every night for him and his group is a fight for survival. In this process the Prince falls in love and the qualities of a great leader start to come out. It is a story of how a rebellious Price becomes mature with experience to understand the responsibilities of a Prince. Friendships, bravery and love are major themes.

10)    Painter of the Wind(2008)

This is a story of a girl who goes to the Academy of Painting in the Josean era when no women was allowed in it. She disguises herself as a man and goes to find who killed her father. Her mentor falls in love with her but he takes to future step towards a relationship because such a relationship is impossible. A cute story filled with determination, friendship and hard work.

11)    Moon embracing the Sun(2012)

This cute story is about two Princes who are the two Suns as they both are to be Princes. Only one of them can be King. They both fall in love with the same girl. This girl was a former court lady who was suppose to marry Prince Hwon – the first Sun but she is also loved by his elder half brother Prince Yang –Myung – the second Sun. So this girl is the Moon. This story is a must watch. You can only understand it when you watch it. It shows loyalty, love and sacrifice and most of all brotherly love/bond.

12)Princess's Man(2011)

A good love story similar to Romeo and Juliet. This follows the story of two noble families who hate each other but how the two younger generation boy and girl fall in love.The boy's dad is killed by the girls dad . He is on a mission to take revenge but will he be able to forger his love for her?  They are ready to sacrifice everything for love ...even themselves. 


These are my top 11 dramas. May be you could add some yourselves. These are only a few of the many good historical Korean Dramas out there. Of course there are more Historical KDrama coming which I haven't seen. But what dramas would you add to this list?

Daskon episode 38 recap

Yes, Aussie won but guys Sri Lankans are the true winners. We hammered them. If Chandimal did not retire due to injury SL would have won. I just hope Chandimal is not much injured. Guys West Palace is on ITN from 14th onwards-lets see how good it is.  Sri Lanka is going to quarter finals against South Africa if they win against Scotland- which they are going to win. What is after My Girl on Swaranawahini though? Congratulations Sanga for the 3rd continuous century on World cup cricket and on reaching 14000 ODI runs.

Now to the recap:

Yalagoda/bad minister's chains are released. He looks at the directing where the Tooth Relic is. He orders the people to go to a side. He worships the direction and says " Please save my country from these Waduges". He tells one of the guards to take his head gear to his sweetheart and children as all his wealth is taken into the states ownership. He says that this is all he could give his family as it is something to remember him from. The people and the guard srt to cry out loud....'"My Lord-My Lord" . The drums start to play. The guard can't even read the Kings orders - he too cries. The bad minister is killed as a Proper Noble Sinhalese.

 The King looks on at his son-the Prince. The noble Lady goes to bring fruit juice to the King. She comes back and looks at a closed door. The King has gone out to meet Daskon. He gets up and they stare at each other. They both turn away from each other. Daskon gets back to his writing. The King to the chamber.
Daskon narrates that it is silent all around Sankadagala. Daskon didn't choose to go to the torture house and record in his journal of the executions. Daskon says that the King knows why he did not go.
Patiya is taken to be killed. The people come running to see the execution. He says look come and look how royal blood runs down this soil. I am a son born to a Sinhala mother and Father. Come and look how a Sinhalese King with the right to the throne being killed. He pushes the guards. The main guard screams give up. Patiya says I am not afraid to die tell Nreandra Singha to come and see me, his elder brother being killed.

The King says he is thirsty. He takes out the Brandy bottle given by the Portuguese. Daskon says this is the first time the King in his life that he has taken his grief with alcohol. He says that this will be a new chapter of the Kandyan Kingdome. The King says I know what my thirst is now Daskon......to be continued next week.....

There is happiness everywhere. Patiya's mother is with the Catholics. She continues to see Patiya being tortured.  Patiya screams for his mother before his death.

West Palace on ITN at 6.00pm on 14th of March.

The plans have changed for ITN's Autumn in my Heart. I don't know what exactly was behind this sudden decision. Lee Young Ae got very famous in Sri Lanka after Jewel in the Palace drama on Rupavahini.


Looking at the current drama it was shown in Korea in 1995. Yes it is very old and the internet does not have much on it. Right now Rupavahini is showing The Goddess of Fire. So West Palace follows the story of Prince Prince Gwanghae same Prince in The Goddess of Fire. It has 52 episodes and was shown in KBS2.



I'm sorry for the lack of information but right now it was a quick decision by ITN. From what I have heard it is a alright story but not in the same way as Jewel in the Palace/ Sujatha Diyani.

It is a pretty sad story according to what is said online. Just hope it is good. There is no big overall audience for West Palace as it is an old drama. It is 19 years old and well lets see.

It starts on the 14th March at 6.00 pm. Hope it is good.

Daskon episode 37 recap

Hello guys. The CHANGE is affecting people. The Maha Nuwara was just an example. Did you guys hear...the fellow is going to give Indian fisherman 3 days to fish in Sri Lankan waters. Will see what will happen. The Sri Lankan and Aussie match is coming up. I'm sure will be able to match their strength.
 Now to the recap:

The good nilamà is going to the Temple. He says the new priest has brought a calmness to the temple. The sangha has obtained new preost i nto the Sasana. The Sangha says that he will spread Buddhism in Lanka. The new Samanaras are indroduced. The good nilamà is very happy. The Sangha leave to get alms from people and spread the Buddhism.
The Catholics are building a church. Patiya's mother and assistant are there. The main Catholic father spreads his religion. He calls all the poor people to change their religion.

The Catholic father prays witn his group of Catholics to their god. They ask Patiya's sins to be forgiven. I'm so thankful that Patiya didn't change his religion because I respect him for the Sinhala Buddhist he is and not for anything else. If he too changes his religion then to me he is nothing. If he can't keep to his principles then how can he be King?

The rebels are taken to be killed. Patiya's uncle faint . They put water on him and then kills him. The bad minister is brought. He asks his hands to be freed. The man put in charge doesn't like to kill the bad minister. He asks the guard from the deaths gallow to free his arms and legs. The people look on they don't look happy. They free his hands and legs .......to be continued.....tomorrow.

Daskon episode 36 recap

Hello people. Today there is romance in the air. Well just finished an episode of My Girl. Well it is so damn cute how Chan loves Yoori but afraid to tell her this. Chil Wu the Mighty finished today. From next week onwards ITN will show Autumn in my Heart. I'm not watching it. It's too sad and old I like Jodha Akbar better. It's a very cute story. Congratulations Sri Lanka on that awesome win against England. My favourite cricketers hit two centuries - Sanga and Thrimanne. We are gonna win and it's an awesome feeling....Now to recap:

The Palace is shown. The King is pissed off. Everyone is looking. The MahaAdikaram says name your wish.Patiya says give me my sword. I will kill you all here. The King and Dsakon exchanges looks.The King gets up and says take the prisoners to their cells. The King asks the nilamàs what kind of punishment to give the prisoners. They scream kill them! The King says according to the rules it will be done so.

Patiya'a mother with the assistant comes out of the Palace. The Catholic priests are outside with their people. She comes and falls at the priests feet. Well call me conservative but according to the culture I've been brought up in I don't think anyone should change their religion even if their life depends on it.

The Queen consort's Palace is shown. Her mother says don't take quick decisions. The King's head must be in a mess right now. The Queen says that's what Kings have to live with. I am the only one all alone here. The King is in Haburankatha. The mother says you should be with the King right now. The mother wants to go feed her little son. The Queen says will the King get angry that I didn't come. The mother says here you are coming with us. Daskon will never do you wrong. The mother says the Crown Prince will only be born in you womb not the Monnerawila Kumarihami's womb. Think of it and be happy Pramila.


Daskon sings a poem to the King. The King says it would calm my mind. It didn't have time to listen to a poem by you because I was busy. While the song goes on the King sees the Queen looking around in fear - the song is about fear and crying. The King looks shocked.........we stop here.....to be continued next week.....

Precap: The Prisoners are to be killed. The bad minister says The Temple of the Tooth Relic gauge my country from the Wadugas before he is to be killed.......the people cry .... Patiya comes and says Come and watch your older brother being killed you bloody Waduga!! The Monnerawila Kumarihamy/Noble Lady is shown. She looks shocked. Daskon is there at her Noble home. Something is wrong somewhere. The King drinks and tells Daskon I am thirsty - in a strange way.
