Daskon episode 54 recap

Hi guys. Happy Vesak everyone. Exams starting soon and I am freaked out. Next poya day would be Poson and by that time I yet have 3 more exams to go. Nothing more though but go and watch Daredevil it is suppose to be very very good. Anyway he is one of my favorite superheroes. I am one of the few who liked the Daredevil movie with Ben Affleck and I hoped they would make a better movie especially with a better ending. Why the hell did Mayweather have to win that match…ah that was a big let down. Well let’s get down to biz.

Now for the recap:

The King asks what the drum was. A catholic father explains that the drummer’s name is Alaginayuthim. He says that he is a person who sang and danced. He is at the moment teaching it to some of the Haburankatha children. The King says that the drummer should be given a gift. He gets up to go. Pramila’s father says that they have to speak about Saranankara Samanara’s school. The King says yes the astrologers are coming tomorrow to give a complaint against him. He continues to ask whether he knows anything about Saranankara Samanara’s “silwath samagama”, when Pramila’s father cannot answer. The King says poke your nose to thinks that you understand. Pramila’s father is offensed. The King says we will see about that tomorrow.

The good minister’s friend comes to tell him that there will be fire in the Palace. The good minister says Ah yes that was done long time ago. The friend says I am not talking about something that happened before!!!! I am talking about something that will happen in the future.

Some random Hindu Veda is muttering something in his language in front of the Palace. The guards tell him that they don’t understand anything that he is saying. The astrologer’s come and they smile at the Veda and go in to the Palace. The guards bow before them as if they are Buddhist Monks.

Saranankara Samanara

The good minister wants to talk about Saranankara Samanara. The King says haven’t the astrologers come. The good minister looks shocked. The King asks the MahaAdikaram whether it isn’t against the laws to talk about a mere Samanara before the great astrologers. The MahaAdikaram says well a Samanara ( a trainee monk who hasn’t yet attained Monkhood) is technically equal to a Monk so yes you can speak about a Samanara before an astrologer. The King says anyway good minister you wait until I speak to the astrologers.

The astrologers come and they say they cannot work together as they don’t like each other. The Sangha according to them have told the people not to worship astrologers or even give alms. The King says now it is your chance good minister. The good minister points out that astrologers are not the Sangha even though they live in Temples and look after Buddhist books. The astrologers say that they cannot live with each other. It is either them or the astrologers. The King says we will ask a foreigner. The Catholic father is asked to tell what he believes. He speaks of how Christianity was divided and stuff and how the differences in clothes and stuff tell the people who are who. The King says now tell us astrologers what you think? He astrologer says well the Sangha are the ones who started a new and they should wear a head band or a head gear to cover their heads. The good minister gets pissed off and gets up and shouts and says I hope that this council will not insult Buddhism or Lord Buddha……..to be continued tomorrow…

Saranankara Samanara comes to the main hall and everyone worships him. Daskon is given a Niyagala flower by Pramila (Niyagala is deadly poison.) She doesn’t know this. She sings a song for him. They are very happy. All the ministers fall before Saranankara Samanara and Sadu! Sadu! Sadu! echoes thorough the great Palace Halls.

Hello dear blog readers. Mission Impossible 5 is out. I was waiting for this from mission impossible 4. I personally believe that Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner are the best combination ever. This year is one of the best movie years ever!!!!! Jurassic Park is also coming out and OMg I was waiting my whole teenage hood for this one!!! Exams start in 27 days and I am studying hard but not that hard that I can’t come to my blogJ Yes there are some major changes on my blog but I hope you like it. I now have two Google Plus accounts now and both are active…those who are following my posts can keep on doing from my old profile while the new one is also available. I wish all my readers a Happy Vesak. Also I so hope the new English Princess would be named Diana because no matter what Princess Diana was a very kind loving person- she was a person whom all the girls could look up to no matter the other things. Anyway let’s get down to biz.

Now for recap:

The First Queen Consort is having fun and Daskon is there too. They are sitting together. They are going to Siri Patha. She asks why the King never goes there. They keep talking. The Queen Consort says how they did four pujas but never got results. Daskon says nothing wrong will happen to Pramila (he is using her first name). She says that the King is so upset that he has started to drink. Pramila says she is afraid. She says that every time the King comes to meet her he is drunk. By this time they are both standing very close. The good minister’s friend looks on and he is up to no good. I think he is thinking they are romantically bond or something…

Saranankara Thero and the Sangha come and start their studies. Everyone repeats. The good minister, Pramila’s father and the Kappitipola come to watch. The little Prince says some words out of order. The Thero gets up. The Thero tells young Kappitipola to come and teach the students (the little Prince, Pramila’s brother and a noblemen’s son) and the Samanaras (young monks who haven’t attain Sanghahood yet). Young Kappitipola starts his lesson. He does look very handsomeJ Saranankara Thero and the ministers go alone to talk. Everyone says that the Thero is doing very good service to Sasana. The Thero says that astrologers are taking over the Sasana. Pramila’s father has converted into Buddhism. He says he will talk about this to the King before the astrologers reach the Palace. However he says that he does not know much about the Sasana as he is not a born Buddhism. The good minister says yes now a day a born Buddhist cannot meet the King. Kappitipola nilama says WHAT HAS BECOME OF OUR COUNTRY (suits this time too no?).

The King listens to the Catholic father’s music. Pramila’s father is there too. The King enjoys the music. After it ends he asks what kind of a drum the drummer is playing. The catholic father says tat he is from India and came with the people who came for Pramila’s puja. He tells the drummers name and the King starts to ask him something...the Catholic father jumps in…..to be continued tomorrow… From here on I am calling the First Queen Consort by her first name Pramila…

Daskon episode 52 recap

Hello people. Welcome to another one of my recaps. Well my family is finding houses I am studying my ass off. Well first I am shocked at what happened in Nepal. RIP for the 2000+ people who died due to that earthquake. My heart felt condolences to all the family members. May the Triple Gems guard those who survived this earthquake. Also my deepest condolences to a friend of mine who’s father departed. May he be born in a better palace in his next life and so may it be for all the victims of the Nepal earthquake. The next big thing in Sri Lanka is the Kurunagala rally. Also good news as Kushal Janith is in good form but hey we are loosing test status...Ahhhhh... Did u guys hear Navin Dissanayaka? He is like if an interim committee was there before why can’t I have one now… OMg what a fool. In 2012 ICC banned Interim committees’ idiot!!!!! Ahg this is Yahapalanaya? Putting people who don’t know basic rules of ICC and for godsake does he even know where the onside is? Put me as the minister of sport I know more than him!!!!!!

The Catholic Father gets an advisory post..

The Catholic priest and the First Consort’s father are given positions in the council. The Catholic priest is given an advisory post –one of the highest of its time. The father is given another main post. Everyone is shocked. All the ministers watch the King go. They all stare at the King’s throne. Time passes…………………..5 years after the decision is shown…

Daskon listens to all this...

The Palace is shown the guards are guarding the main gates. The scene changes to the King’s favorite river. The assistant like a Veda stands watching it. He catches a fish. He then goes towards the forest and kills a rabbit he takes both to their hid out. As soon as he tries to kill the rabbit the astrologer says let this sinner die and burn in hell. The assistant gets angry. The astrologer then tells Bana about how Lord Buddha was born as a rabbit in a former life. The assistant looks at the cute rabbit (we have wild rabbits in our village in Matara- they are so cute). He lets it go. The astrologer chants the five prefects. Panathi patha weramani sitha pathan samathiyani…. The rabbit happily runs away.

The King’s grandfather from his mother’s side is doing a Hindu puja on a boy. He is the First Queen Consort’s brother? He is going to the temple for his education.

On the other hand the Noble Lady’s Little Prince is worshiping his mother saying the gatha. He then explains the meaning of it. He then turns towards the Palace which is like 100 kilometers away from their home. He says the gatha for the father while worshiping that side. It is so cute as he has a lisp as he is small and cute. He then worships his grandmother and runs towards his grandfather. His grandfather hugs him and says my little prince. He then says that the little Prince should study and not become a Kundasala but become a Wimaladaramasuriya. The Noble Lady looks sad. The little Prince then says Kappitipola siyai, Wimaladaramasuriya siyai – siyai +siyai = desiyai. Ok we say siyai to hundred as well as for hundred so two siyai = to two hundred -this is a clever pun. Our little Prince is very clever. They get into a covered carriage as this is the Prince who is going and they then go to school/ temple to learn….to be continued….next week…

The gong is played. The good minister’s friend sees Daskon and the First Queen Consort having a lover’s talk – standing really close also. Saranakara Thero calls Young Kappitipola who has grown big and cute :) The good minister says that it is time for Sarankara Thero to be introduced to the King. Hindu priests have started to sing in front of the Palace - Hindu’s in Sankadagala? Yah I know that is super abnormal. The astrologers come and complain that the Sangha are a headache for them and that they can’t live together. The good minister gets pissed off and says I hope that Buddhism will be safeguarded by this council. The good minister’s friend gets pissed off and tries to hit the astrologers – as usual J He reminds me of T.M Dilshan and the good minister reminds me of SangaJ

Hello people …I am back with my recap. I still haven’t got any answer for my request for an English recap of West Palace Korean Drama on ITN. I am just saying consider it cause there is a demand for it. SL cricket is going to be banned well that’s Yahapalanaya for you guys. The CHANGE really helped didn't it...Thank god that Sanga and Mahela retired because I don’t want them to suffer. Fast and Furious 8 is coming out in 2017. Avengers is going to come out in sections like the Hobbit. Anyway the Avengers are to die at least in the comic. Then comes the NEXT Avengers with all the Avenger’s sons and daughters...Thor has a daughter named Thorun. The only avengers who survive are Hawkye, Thor, Hulk and Iron man. Ya that might sound like everyone to u guys but Marvel has so many Avengers in the comic version. Ah yes and Vision survives too. One question I always wanted to ask Marvel was why they don’t have Black Panther in the Avengers. I mean his love for Storm and his son Arize is enough of a story line. Anyway let’s get to biz…

Now to Recap:

The King and the First Queen Consort

The King tries to jump into the water. Daskon screams stop. The King screams why? Daskon says he saw a dragonfly fly on the water. The King gives him this look like WTF? Daskon says he can’t be on the surface of the water without dying. He gets into the water to investigate. He then sees all the sticks on the river bed which would kill anyone who jumps in. Daskon shows this to the King. Just the First Queen Consort’s foot is pulled from under the water by the assistant. Daskon carries her in his arms and carries her near the bank where he takes her into her arms as she is unconscious – cute scene. Daskon orders the river and the river to be checked. The soldiers jump in and the assistant is still under water breathing through a bamboo stick.

The Queen Consort is taken to the doctor the King watches on. Nothing is wrong with her she is only frightened. She wakes up to see the King next to her smiling. She wakes ups and says I am ok. She says I am happy that you are here with me. She takes her hand next to his. He slowly takes his hand away. The King says my shadow saved me. The Queen Consorts asks Daskon? The King says yes and tells her how the plan was to take place.

The Noble Lady gets up with a shock. Her servant tells her to sleep again. She tells her to tell her about this coup. The servant repeats everything and she comes to the part where she says the First Queen Consort was also going to be killed. The Noble Lady doesn’t seem disturbed. The servant takes the noble Lady near her and tells her to keep her head on her shoulder. With this she chants Pirith to calm her down to sleep as she keeps sobbing and crying.

The ministers..

The Palace entrance is shown. The ministers are all in the Hall. Surprisingly the Catholic father is also there – Mmm.. The King keeps shouting saying that the ministers are trying to kill him. The MahaAdikaram says that is a lie. The King gets angry. The good minister wakes up and says My Lord it was also these ministers saved you both times. The King smiles and puts his hands on the good minister’s shoulders- he trusts the good minister. One of the ministers asks why the assassin was not caught. Daskon says that he was helping the First Queen Consort at that time. The good minister’s friend says well it seems well planned I am suspicious. The MahaAdikaram says mind what you says. The King goes near his throne and says I am going to make a change in this council. The Catholic father and the First Queen Consort’s father gets up smiling and thanking….OMg what is going to happen…well wait for tomorrow’s recap…

Daskon episode 50 recap

Hello guys our favorite Sri Lankan Historical Drama just passed half a century. Well exams start in a month’s time. Freaked out like hell. First exam is sociology wanna give my best for that…well lets see. Anyway now that I have started quick recaps with not much detail only for these few months until exams finish. Anyway let us get down to business.A certain bitch said no, what a bitch....

Now for the recap:

The First Queen Consort is taking a bath. Her servant applies sandalwood and other herbal pastes on her body. She wants to be beautiful but come on the Noble Lady looks far more beautiful after taking washes in the river. The servant wants the First Queen Consort to leave this country as it is not there country and she starts to cry. The Consort says don’t cry, we will be fine you leave now. The Consort gets on bed and starts singing.

The assistant and the astrologer push sharpened sticks down the river. The assistant goes down the river and disappears while the astrologer watches on.

The King wants to go to his bathing place. Daskon smiles. He reads his poetry to the King.

The good minister and his friend talk of how the King no longer is interested in doing his Kingly duties.

Today also he is at his bathing place. The good minister’s friend says that Daskon is a genetic orphan. How can he become this country’s MahaAdikaram? They both think whether they gave ginger and took chilly as Yalagoda/ bad minister was after all a Sinhalese. The good minister says it is the Sinhalese who are orphans. The church in Haburankatha is filled with Catholics. The good minister says from the coast line we are captured by the Portuguese, the Wadduga’s in Sankadagala and Catholics in Haburankatha. The friend says I did a gurukama (black magic spell) it is for the Catholic Church. The good minister says no and leaves. The friend looks on and we hear a monstrous scream.

The King takes a bathe with the Queen Consort and her ladies. Daskon watches on. He elates to us how the King is known as the playful King by his people. We see a full on shot of the King’s six packs ;) ……to be continued next week...

The Gong sounds. The Noble Lady gets shock and wake ups. Someone has tried to kill the King and the First Queen Consort by drowning them. Everyone is shocked after hearing this. Daskon is the one who dived in and saved them. The King wants to change the ministers. Everyone is shocked and we see how our Nilama’s fought war for the King but yet are going to be changed. The friend of the good minister says all this looks well planned I suspect you to Daskon who is pissed off. The King is pissed off… Time passes….some one calls a name and a little Prince comes out dancing it is the First Queen Consort’s brother. Then we see a cute… cute… cute little prince who is the Noble Lady’s son. Someone tells that he should be taught well….OMg this drama is so interesting. Hello guys I came for a quick recap. Annoying teachers only 2 months to go. Anyway lets get down to our recap:

The Noble Lady says that yesterday night with the King was a fairy tale. Her servant smiles and says reality is very different. The Noble Lady says don't you want to be happy? The servant smile and tells her no my Lady take a wash, the water is hot. The Lady looks around and says where is my Prince. The servant says because you woke up late we already gave the Prince a wash.

The Noble Lady's brother wants to become a monk and Daskon is shocked. The family think about it and they go to the temple to get advice from the main Maha Sangha. The Maha Sangha looks at the little boy's horoscope and is in seep thought. He looks at the boy and says why do you want to join the Sasana. The boy says he likes to spread Buddhism to the whole of Sri Lanka. The other ministers are shocked. They all are in deep thought. The Maha Sangha say no we need noble men who would help our country. The ministers says look here noble boy you need to take a sword into your hands and defend our country...I feel empowered....and so is the little boy....he is to continue to learn under the Saranakara Thero.....to be continued tomorrow...

Daskon episode 48 recap

Hey guys last recap. Thanks for giving me 5000 views. Maybe I will continue to do recaps but I’m not sure, it depends on the stress level with the exams. Hope you guys get to watch King Ashoka drama on TV Derana. If time lets me I might to recaps for that but Indians are already doing recaps for it already – probably. Of Course I think my English is better than the Indians. Trust me I have experience after reading Yeh Hai Mohabbatien recaps. Mmm... I have exams till the 10^th of June and on the 11^th I go shopping. Anyway after the 10^th until Campus starts in the end of June I’ll be a full time blogger. Anyway why not get down to business without wasting more time.

Now for recap:

The King calls for Daskon at the same time the First Queen Consort wants to meet him. Daskon goes to the King. The King says they have a journey to go that night. That only both of them were going. Daskon wants to know whether the MahaAdikaram knows about this. The King says I want to meet my citizens with them not knowing that I am King. The King asks for no security. Daskon says then the Queen Consort called me for the same thing? The King laughs and says that only those who can be trusted have so many people to please. He repeats that they have a special mission to go to this night. Daskon leaves.

The astrologer is shivering in the hot sun. The assistant says that you haven’t worked at all; I am the only one who wants to kill the King. He continues to say that if the astrologer doesn’t come then he will turn themselves over to the Palace guards. The astrologer says no, no please no. I am afraid and don’t want anyone to even pinch me let alone kill me. The assistant says if they are to survive then the King and his people should die so therefore help him to kill them all. Sword to sword, revenge and vengeance that is what my god Patiya told me.

The Queen Consort is wearing a new white Osari. Her servant comes and says that Daskon Adikaram has arrived. She tells her to tell him to come inside. She quickly checks her clothes. She says Ayubowan to him. She says that he looks nice in the Adikaram clothes. She says but I called Daskon and not the Adikaram. He sits down and she provides him with fruit juice. He says that the fruit juice she makes with her own hands is far taster than any other. She says I am lonely. She wants her mother. Daskon says if she comes then your baby brother will come with her. It’s your child’s cries and not your brother’s cries that should echo through this Palace. She wants to go the Sankadagala Palace once in a while. Daskon says you were only here for less than a month. She asks her why the King doesn’t come to her. Daskon then remembers her song and all the emotions of guilt and love. He gets up to go and she turns her back to him and keeps staring at the fire.

Its night and the King and Daskon go away from the Palace on horses. The Queen Consort keeps waiting for him in the Palace. Daskon is at a Noble Men’s house. The Queen Consort waits for the King. She starts singing. She asks the question why she who is youthful and young is left alone. The King has gone to Monnarawila. This is where the Noble Lady is. The Noble Lady’s father’s asks why he has not thought about the King’s security. Also why he is coming to meet his own Second Queen Consort is such secrecy. Daskon is baffled……………..to be continued……

The King is with the Noble Lady. The First Queen Consort sings about how she waits every day bathed and scented waiting for the King and how he never comes. The Noble Lady gets a shock and wakes up. The astrologer is sitting on a Noble Men’s house roof. Both of them get out of pitch green river water getting ready to kill the King. The Nilama who is the good minister’s friend tells him that the gurukama is ready (the black magic is ready?). The good minister asks what gurukama. The astrologer curse and says a spell while putting sticks deep into the soil. The assistant watches on.

Daskon episode 47 recap

Hey guys. School finished forever this week. On the 9^th was the sport meet and we won –Beling. We were like Sri Lanka always going to the finals and loosing; like the 2014 T20 World Cup in the end we broke the curse. The last day of my school life was celebrated at Pizza Hut with a lot of prank calling and it was very fun. This years Avurudu is also coming and I am going to my home town. Wasn't able to watch Fast and Furious but we watched Cinderella. It wasn't very good, and was anti feminist in some aspects. Anyway I enjoyed the last few days at school. In the end I had to give a speech and all but of course all good and no bad- that was the rule. Anyway let’s get down to business……

Now for the recap:

The King looks at the river and remembers him carrying away the Noble Lady when they were yet lovers in the first episode. The King only loves the Second Queen Consort/Noble Lady. The King gets up to bath in the river with the First Queen Consort who is giving him sultry looks. The King jumps and the Queen Consort goes towards him. He gets up and starts to swim in the opposite direction. The Queen Consort looks at Daskon – as if asking him what she is supposes to do. She looks hurt – very good for her; she needs to understand the same pain felt by the Noble Lady when the First Queen Consort jumps in between her and the King. The assistant looks on to kill the King.

Sarankara Thero and his followers come and worship him while the good minister bows his head. The Mahanayaka Thero is happy. He says how when the Sarankara Thero came back after he goes to the villages he always brings children to join the Sasana. One minister says that the Catholic priest is changing all Sinhala Buddhist into Catholics. The Maha Sangha says that only true Buddhists wouldn’t change their religion. The Sangha say well when there is no place to worship how one can keep ones religion. The minister says that that’s so true; if it wasn’t for Sarankara Thero I wouldn't have seen all this. He points out how the Catholic priest is staying at the Daskon Nilama’s house as his mother is a Portuguese woman who is 100% Catholics. The good minister says that if he had the ministerial post he could have sent this Catholic priest back home. The Sangha says the very fact that Daskon got the ministerial post is bad, he is not a bad guy but he is a foreigner. They all go in to speak more about the problem.

The Waduga Royal family is talking about sending the King and the First Queen Consort to India to do a puja for her to get a child. The Queen Consort’s mother starts to laugh loudly and everyone is feeling awkward, she then says if the King leaves this country then someone else would take his throne – the bitchiness runs in the family I see. Anyway finally they all agree that Hindu priests will be sent from India to do the puja. They just don’t want our little Prince to get the throne – well hey Royals how can that bitch get a kid when the King doesn't even touch her now……………..to be continued tomorrow….

Daskon episode 46 recap

Hi guys. School finishes in another 3 days. I will miss my friends like hell, especially my best friend. Well life goes on. So excited about going to watch Fast and Furious 7- I’m a huge fan. I am going to read Inheritance straight after exams finish, had to postpone it so far because of these exams. Want to finish all this and feel free again. At least this time I could celebrate Vesak the proper way without non stop studying.

Now for recap:

The astrologer and the assistant have moved into a new cave. The assistant is roasting something. The astrologer says give that to me, I am so hungry. The assistant says that I am burning the King’s head not something to eat. The astrologer says give that to me, how could we hide like this forever? The assistant says where I can I go to kill the King? The astrologer says the Royal Bathing Place that is where there is the least security. That is where Kundasala bathes. (Strange, how they call the King by his name when he was the Crown Prince).

The young Sangha and other Sanghas come to a village and all the people hide. No one offers them food. They all stand by the doors silently. The young Sangha sits down on a stone and starts to say Pirith. Slowly the people start coming out and sitting down to listen to the Pirith. He starts to say Bana telling the villagers about how Lord Buddha went house to house asking for alms when he first went to Kapilavasthu. How Lord Buddha told King Suddodana (Lord Buddha’s biological father) that all Buddha’s asked for alms. They all say “Sadu, Sadu, Sadu!!! “. They understood the Bana and the fact that alms should be provided to the Sangha.

The Noble Lady screams and says now look I boiled the water and all and now the Lady has come to take a dip in the river. She shouts at the servant who sings and says don’t you have a brain to tell that mother’s shouldn't take dips in the river at this time. If she gets sick it is bad for the Prince. The servant who sings smiles and says I told her but she wants me to sing for her. The servants say then go and sing suddenly she changes her mind and says wait till I come. Scene changes and we see the First Queen Consort taking a bath. Her servants help her take of her jewelry. She takes her hair pin off and flips her hair and look at the King who is sitting on a rock with Daskon who sits looking the other way. The King says all women are innocent in reply Daskon says all men are not cunning. The King says when I see this river I remember the waterfall in Matala (his mind is always on the Noble Lady).The King smiles, the First Queen Consort is not at all having fun the way the Noble Lady/ the Second Queen Consort has…..to be continued next week…..

Precap:

The Gong sounds. The First Queen Consort asks Daskon why the King is not coming to her chambers- she seems to be in her night gown. The Maha Sangha tells the good minister that the King is getting to close to the Catholic father. The Noble Lady’s/ Second Queen Consort’s father agrees to this and they all go into the temple to hold a discussion. The assistant gets ready to kill the King, he sharpens a wooden pole. The King’s mother and grandfather want to take the King and the First Queen Consort to Thirirpathi kovil to take blessing so that the woman would get a child. The father doesn’t like this and he says no. (I think he wants to make his son the King). The King asks Daskon to come with him to go to an important place. That evening they go out somewhere on horses. The First Queen Consort sings and asks why the King does not show interest in her.

Daskon episode 45 recap

Well hello guys. My Girl is going through its last few episodes. Do not know whether they are going to show any other Korean Dramas by the Hong sisters. Just got applications for University, now I need to fill them out. Ah...How time flies. Well A2 is coming up fast. The first paper is on May 29^th. Well going to watch Fast and Furious 7 on the 8^th. Have to say good bye to Paul Walker. I don’t know why but feel a bit freaked out. I am going to give my 100 percent on the exams so I wouldn't be able to write anything on my blog for a while. I will only do recaps and writing most probably till the 11^th of AprilJ Anyway lets get to the recap.

Now for the recap:

The scene starts with a waterfall being shown. Inside its cave is the assistant. He curses the King and all his generations to come. He asks the astrologer to help to destroy the King.

The Catholic father plays his violin for the King and the Queen Consort. Daskon looks on happily. They are all smiling even the Queen Consort’s assistants. The music goes on and when it ends the King starts to clap. Everyone looks at him and he gives this stupid smile and claps on. Daskon looks at him and shakes his head. This part is so awkward. The King stops and says I am sorry but is it ok if I clap? When a Thero preaches to us we say Sadu! Sadu! Sadu! Thee Catholic father smiles and says your praise is good for us so it doesn’t matter how you praise us. The older father says that clapping is heard in the heavens. He says that carols are sung to praise God. He says that he can sing in Sinhala. The King asks how can you speak in Sinhalese and write in Sinhalese so fast. The father says that all this was done only by God. The father says that Daskon’s mother is one of his strong followers. The King says yes she is a Portuguese woman, fro her birth she was a catholic. He continues to say that Daskon does not come to the sermons. The other father says that Daskon is a protestant but Daskon says that he was brought up in Buddhist temples – meaning he was a Buddhist?

The King hold the Queen Consort’s hand and tells her that her use of Sinhalese is cute and not to change it. Daskon looks a bit angry. The King gets up and leaves. He tells the Queen Consort that if she wants anything, just to ask Daskon.

The King is seen by the doorway and the Noble Lady gets up happily. However she only sees her servant. She tells the servant that her heart aches with love for the King. She takes the young Prince and kisses him. The servant asks the Lady to come and have a bath as the water has boiled….to be continued tomorrow….

Daskon episode 44 recap

Hello…tomorrows my sociology exams and I couldn’t finish studying ….to much to study in to little time...The Port City project is going ahead it seems. Well so said certain people. Aussie won the World Cup and said it’s a win for Phil and that was so sweet of them. NZ just collapsed because they couldn’t handle pressure – I knew this was going to happen. Well good luck to them – and bye....bye Clarke…

Now for the recap:

The King and the Queen Consort smile at each other. He doesn’t seem to miss the Noble Lady. The Queen Consort says Ohariya and the King looks confused. She turns to show her Osari. The King sees the Noble Lady instead of the Queen Consort. He understands that he loves her more than the Queen Consort. He looks sad and walks away from her and sits down. He doesn’t like being in her room. He says that she should take rest. He doesn't want to be with her. He feels awkward and calls Daskon with a fake sense of humor. He arrives and Daskon and the Queen consort flirt with their words. Saying how she was afraid and how she is not so now. How she wanted so badly to see him in his nilama outfit. Daskon understand that the King is feeling awkward. He quickly says that she shouldn’t be afraid now that the King is here with here. The King gives another fake smile. He gets up and says you should take rest and leaves. The Queen Consort is hurt. Daskon feels for her and both of them remember her sudden poem she sang for Daskon. (She loves Daskon and yet she is jealous of the Noble Lady – she is a bitch).

The Sangha are going on Pinapatha (to beg for alms). They speak of how the people no longer know about Buddhism and how things are done. The main Sangha says well it is not their fault they haven’t even seen a Sangha in a long time. The temples are taken over by astrologers and they are called astrologer homes. Now they only believe in astrologers. Another Sangha says well when the good minister takes you to the King things will change. The main Sangha says we need a plan before we meet the King. They speak how this forest used be a prestigious town before and how everything is taken over by the forest, even temples. They all get up and walk away.

The astrologer and assistant are shocked when they see their hid out destroyed. The assistant takes Patiya Bandara’s plate and worships it and says I swear upon this plate that I will take vengeance.

Precap:

The Catholic father plays for the King and Queen Consort, Daskon watches on happily. On the other hand when Saranankara Thero goes to villages for alms the villagers run away and hid. Atheism prevails in Sankadagala the City with the Temple of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. The assistant curses and asks the astrologer where he could find him and kill him (I think he is talking about the King). Bakpathini the servant, who sings, sings a beautiful song as the Noble Lady/ 2^nd Queen Consort and her waiting ladies enjoy themselves at the waterfall. They have a lot of fun bathing and singing.

Well here comes another weekend. Fast and Furious 7 is to be shown from the 1^st of May – watch it for Paul Walker. Tomorrow is the match and I am fully supporting New Zealand. I mean Brendon McCollum he deserves a world cup. GO NZ GO!! GO NZ GO!!! The Heirs ended yesterday and that means no more Korean dramas on TV Derana anymore. Sad I miss Tan and Yondo…. Loved Lee Min Ho’s and Kim Woobin’s’ acting. Well let see what happens tomorrow. Well since Yahapalana is stretching for another 3 months we shouldn’t talk about tat crap. Ratnapura rally was awesome. Mahinda sir is coming back because we want it back!!!! Ok so lets talk about the drama today…ah... and Strike Back season 4 is starting from tomorrow…..

Now for the recap:

The army raids the hid out. Nobody is there at first but women come out in white. They cry saying don’t hurt us. They are taken as prisoners and their entire thing are burnt. They are told to tell where the traitors are for otherwise they will be killed. They are all taken away.

The servant who to Daskon’s ring comes to meet him. She looks a bit scared. She says the noble Lady is going to her noble house today. She just came to say good bye to Daskon. Daskon comes out in his old clothes and says well the King and I will miss the Noble Lady. (I told you guys there is romance in the air here. Daskon is being overly kind to this girl? I don’t know.). She gives the ring back to him. She says that I can't sing anymore poems with this sadness. He says then sing sad songs all the way from Haburankatha Palace to Matala wallawa. She looks at him with tears in her eyes and starts to sing.

With the song The Noble Lady comes out of the Palace. Daskon looks from inside the Palace. While the Noble Lady walks towards the entrance with her servants, The King walks along with her on the corridor but she doesn't look. (this is a great shot) She is angry. The song continues and it has the following meaning:

My lord have I done something wrong to you?

Am I of lower caste? Am I not enough for you? Is there something less in me?

Is my child is less for you? Have you no love or respect for me?

They all leave the Palace. The Noble Lady and her mother are taken in carriages while the servants all go in bullock carts. The servant continues to sing. The Noble Lady looks up looking strong and trying to not feel hurt.

The song continues and the Haburankatha Palace is made to celebrate the arrival of that bitch called Queen Consort. Everything is cleaned and new things put. A red carpet is put and she arrives on it putting her feet exactly on the golden lotuses.

The King arrives at her end of the Palace which is guarded by two female guards with spears. She sees him and shows her Osari (Sri Lankan version of the sari). He looks and says I can only see the beauty of your shawl. She says well like Queen Kuveni my mother stitched me this. Do you like my hariya? The King is confused and says hariya?..............to be continued tomorrow…..

Hello guys. The situation in Sri Lanka is laughable. West Palace is very boring. The so called god damn Yahapalana camp’s taxes on foreign dramas caused all Korean dramas due to be showed on TV to be cancelled. I curse them just for this. Then today they started something they call the “National Government” which allows them to stay for 3 months more. So the 100 day program will be prolonged to 3 months. Well what are the dummies who voted for the “CHANGE” say now? This they did because there are more and more people rallying behind our President Mahinda Rajapkshe. I curse the “CHANGE “for this too. To make things worse a so called teacher shouted at an innocent victim because she made a mistake which she hates to admit. What is the World coming to? Well there is good news :) I go a new laptop an Hp Compaq nx9040.

Now to the recap:

Haburankatha Palace is shown. The MahaAdikaram and the noble Lady’s father speak how they are aging. Kappitipola nilama the noble Lady’s father is told to take the noble Lady to their own noble home just because that bitch called Queen consort is coming. The nilama is badly affected. He doesn't like the way it is all done.

The assistant is hiding. The army is finding for someone. The have gone to the astrologer’s house. He has three children. The mother gets a shock when the army smashes their door open. They tell them to send her husband straight to the King’s court to be put in jail. The children are so scared and so is their mother. They all stammer and say that he has not been seen from the day of the rebel. The commander threatens to burn them alive in their house if they try to hide a traitor. After the military people leave the assistant says that they should hid in the forest. He asks so where is the astrologer? His wife says in that box over there. The assistant tells all the tortures that are given to the rebels. The astrologer and assistant decided to hide in the forest. The mother and children are to stay in the house.

The King comes into the Place. He keeps looking at the noble Lady. He comes closer to her and she worships him. She says that Queen Kuveni left her Palace and the Kin watches on. She cries. He says that his mind is the same for him, no matter of tradition and Royal laws. She says the Prince will find it hard to live without the King. He says me to. There is not a day where I don’t miss his sweet milk smell. The baby is given to the King. He sings the little Prince the lullaby and smiles.

The army watches out for the rebels. They all search the forests. The commander orders them to surround the rebel’s former hiding place. The commander screams come out you traitors in the name of our King….to be continued next week…

Precap:

The servant gives Daskon his ring back. He says put it in your finger. She starts another of her poems. The noble Lady is sent out of the Palace. Everyone cries. They head back to their noble home. The noble Lady looks very angry and very hurt. The bitch/Queen Consort comes to Haburankatha all proud. She walks on golden coloured lotuses. The assistant curses the King’s whole generation.

Age of Ultron coming out soon and I can’t wait. West Palace started today and it looks old. It was alright. Let’s just say I liked Jodha Akbar better. I mean it might get better as Lee Young Ae comes into the drama. I do not like the actor who plays King Gwanghae. Since there is no Korean Drama shown after The Heirs on Derana Tv I would recommend Sujatha on Sirasa Tv at the same time – a review will be done on it as soon as possible after my examsJ

Now for the recap:

The Maha Sangha waits for the good minister. Daskon’s parade is seen coming from far. With an emotional song the good minister comes alone on his famous white horse. The Maha Sangha was going to ring the temple bell when the good minister came but he stops the villagers from ringing it. The god minister comes and worships the monks. After wishing him, the villagers see that the good minister has not got the great title or rank.

Daskon’s parade arrives at his mother’s house. He worships his mother in the Buddhist way. They take him inside. The Catholics start singing for Daskon. He is happy. He thanks them. A Catholic church is to be built in Kandy. Daskon and his family are Catholics. A Tamil drummer wants to teach the Sinhalese in Kandy/ Sankadagala Tamil songs / drumming methods. Daskon looks disturbed.

The Queen Consort is given a Sri Lankan /Kandyan sari by her mother. She wants to look more beautiful than the noble Lady. They don’t like the fact that the noble Lady got to stay at Haburankatha Palace. They have spoken to the King and the MahaAdikaram to get her moved into her noble home. They are very bad jealous people.
