Guys or should I start as my dear blog readers. Yi San the Wind of the Palace is on its 134 episode in Sri Lanka. According Rupavahini time schedule the drama will only have 150 episodes. The new advertisements on Rupavahini show beautiful Japanese ceramic pots. So are they finally going to show Jung Yi /The Goddess of Fire at 6.30? For those who do not know Jung Yi. This is a very nice Korean Drama shown on MBC. It stars Kim Bum on his first historical drama role. He is the actor who plays So Yijung the playful playboy in hit drama Boys Over Flowers.
The drama depicts the life and love of Jung Yi and no surprises she falls in love with the Crown Prince. Its a tragic love story. Also guys as all historical Korean dramas shown on Rupavahini its based on a real life person from Korean history.
In the story Kim Bum plays the role that Cha Chen Soo (Dong Yi), Park Da So (Yi San), Yoon Ji Hoo (Boys Over Flowers), Moon Jea Shin ( Sungkwang Scandal), YoonDo (The Heirs), Songha (The King's Doctor) etc played. Yes he plays the looser of the love triangle who continuously protects the main actress. Ya that means more crying for the audience. His character is very closely related to Park De So's. As they both fall in love with their step/orphaned sister like girl but gives her up for the King/ Prince.
Anyway be warned that the drama is very sad and shows a lot of sacrifices. It is kind of like The Great Merchant Kim Man Deok. Its very very nice and cute story unlike Kim Man Deok of course. I would say if this is going to be shown on Rupavahini its a very good choice but one question why aren't you guys not bringing " The Moon Embraces the Sun" to Sri Lanka. Pls after Chil Wu ends do not start to show cartoons at that time pls show a very good very new Korean Drama like "Blade Man".
OK guys enjoy the new drama when it starts at the end of February but its kind of sad that we have to say good bye to Yi San and Song Yoen:-(
