Empress Ki as Suriya Diyani on Rupavahini

7:54 AM 1 Comments

So the horrible Canadian drama shown on Rupavahini in the popular 6.30 pm time slot finished off a few days back. I was just anxiously waiting for it to finish off as it was so very boring. Anyhow the new drama shown on Rupavahini is Empress Ki which was shown on MBC Korea. It consists of 51 episodes and has quite an engaging storyline. If it is 51 episodes in Korea and so it will add up to about 120 Sri Lankan episodes. The story itself is based on Empress Gi of Yuan who was married to Emperor Toghon Temur.

Empress Ki

Something which is quite strange is that Rupavahini is showing two dramas about strong women one after another instead of the normal strong woman- strong man sequence. If you guys can remember it all started off with Sujatha Diyani and then the sequence was strong female character to strong male character. Anyhow be assured that the next drama after Empress Ki will be headed by a strong young man in the lead role.

Ta Hwan - Cute, sexy and Funny...the perfect combination :)

Anyhow let’s take a quick look at the background information of this drama and whether it is worth your timeJ .

Empress Ki and Ta Hwan- a seconf chance at love :)

Empress Ki aka Suriya Diyani is mostly about the Yuan Dynasty of China. At this time China was primarily governed by Mongolians. So the cute Prince (Ta Hwan) in the drama who would end up being the next Emperor is a Mongolian Prince. The story itself is based on a young woman who is taken away to Yuwan as a slave but ends up being the Empress and later the future Emperor’s mother of Yuan. The main character of this drama is Ki who is a daughter of a General of Goryeo. Her mother runs away from General Ki and is later sent away as a female slave to Yuan. Anyhow on the way there the mother dies while the daughter finds refuge in Prince Wang Go’s (the bad prince) care. She grows up as a girl behind the disguise of a boy. Fortunately our little “to be Empress” finds a special friend in Prince Wang Yoo the Crown Prince and later the King of Goryeo. With time the Ki is able to work under her father as soldier and this is where Ki first meets Crown Prince Ta Hwan of Yuan.

Wang Yoo - The cute second lead, the tragic first love.....da man who made me cry buckets..:(

The story itself takes a bittersweet take when Ki or then Seung-nyang falls in love with King Wang Yoo. Their relationship is so sweet to watch and it’s sad that we know that it is heading nowhere. I have to say the actor Jo jin-mo is so cute in the role and I just love him (second lead syndrome hereL ). The thing is that half way through our dear Ki is forced to choose Ta Hwan over Wang Yoo and this choice pretty much kills the souls of the two lovers.

Destined to be together but destiny tore them apart....a tragic first love....:(

However this is not without hope. Ki later becomes the Empress of Yuan and slowly finds herself drawn to Ta Hwan the Emperor. The love story that blooms between them is one of sacrifice and honour. Ta Hwan is of course facing a lot of rivalry to the throne in the same way Wang Yoo did. Anyhow in this case those very much close to Ta Hwan poisons him and this slowly kills the Emperor. Ki is of course torn between her love for her son and husband as she has to make hard choices.

The Empress's right hand man Tal Tal...the best friend and cute guy :)

I love the fact that until the end Ki is a very strong woman. She did have her moments of falling apart and losing control but all this just strengthened her. Her love for her adopted country and her love for Ta Hwan drove her to make hard choices while remaining a strong leader like figure. Unlike in the case of Silla’s Seondeok (Janahithakami Rajiniya) Ki never actually became Queen but yet she was a strong woman. I hope that you too would be inspired by this strong woman’s story and you can watch this drama every weekday (except poya days) at 6.30pm on Rupavahini. Enjoy the Yuan Dynasty J J J J J .

Aditya Danthanarayana :Part2 – Wassane Premaya

8:12 AM 0 Comments

dat look defines it all
He might as well be the most hated character in the history of Hiru TV dramas. His pride, arrogance and stubbornness had made him a household name. Of course this just shows how well Saranga acts out the character but dear Saranga you are doing justice to his character. However what exactly do we know of Aditya? Who is he? What are his goals? Why is he so complex? Well theses questions can
only be answered by taking up at least 1500 words, so why don’t we give it a try?

Aditya Danthanarayana is the youngest son of Mr D and lives in the D mansion. He has a constant hatred towards his mother and the entire female race. He later marries our dear Astha and practically destroys her life. He loves that dear girl but doesn’t quite show it. At the end of the day they end up getting “almost” divorced. So that’s the end of the story. This is the review of Aditya Danthanarayana. Wait! It doesn’t end here. He is far more complex. This was pretty much the basic details so now let’s get to the deeper stuff.

Most of the WP fans love Aditya simply for the arrogance he has and with his hot temper he is almost always attractive. However I always saw something very secretive about him and the way he acted. His constant want to impress his father showed that all things between them were not always pitch perfect. I have a feeling that he was not always the son that a father wanted. He had somehow let down his dad at one point and now he is pretty much being “dad’s slave” to make up for it. This let down I am talking of might have happened with his first love Shoba.

I am sure Aditya was so taken away by Shoba that he began to drift away from the D family. As this was his first love I don’t think he felt the difference. Then Mr. D must have got together with Malini to kill off Shoba so as to get Aditya back on track. Now with Shoba dead the D family must have opened up their arms to Aditya. Then and there he must have felt that the only people he could trust is his family and this quite explains Aditya’s die hard loyalty for his family. However due to some hullabaloo Aditya starts to believe that it’s Malini who got rid of Shoba. With this fact he starts his journey as a misogynist. Anyhow enough of assumptions, now let’s get to the raw facts of his character.

Aditya is obviously taken up by Astha and her bravery the moment she stood up against the D family. He knew that he was falling head over heels in love with her but just didn’t want to admit that he was because he felt it was his weakness. The first time I saw this love sick look on his face was when he went to that remote temple. At that place Aditya looked at Astha in awe and it was quite obvious. The moment he slapped Astha and told her he thought she left him like Shoba. The fact that Aditya was in love but yet hated Astha is a complex issue to look at but heir relationship is a love hate relationship throughout.

Aditya must have surely felt that if he fell for Astha, he was betraying his father’s trust and goals of making him the next Mr. D of the Danthanarayana Companies. He obviously felt guilty when he started to fall for Astha. To cover this guilt he told himself that he was doing this to take revenge from her for what she did to his father. This I believe made him feel that he was still being loyal. This loyalty of his made it easy for his father to use Aditya and later use Malini as the scapegoat to cover all of his father’s wrong deeds. Through this trick Mr. D was able to control Aditya and yet be a god in Aditya’s eyes.

With Astha I had a feeling that Aditya didn’t want her to belong to another. So what he did was getting married to her even against his parent’s wishes. He was pretty helpless here and was probably torn between his love for his sweetheart and his loyalty to his family. By him getting married to Astha he was able to stay net to the woman he loved while being loyal to the family (taking revenge from Astha). He once said that only he could cause Astha to cry and no one else had the right. Here Aditya makes sure that no one hurts Astha at all. He was making sure that she is protected from his big, bad family.

Aditya must have loved Shoba dearly before she left him. So this made Aditya have a female phobia. When he met Astha he simply wanted to have the upper hand and because of that he revealed to Astha that his plan was to take revenge from her. Through this he was able to make sure Astha stayed next to him all the time. If she ran away from him then it will just be a shame for her family. Due to this reason Astha was forced to stay with Aditya. Aditya must have felt that if he showed Astha that he loved her unconditionally then she would run away from him the way Shoba did. He just wanted to make sure Astha didn’t runaway like Shoba.

When Astha finally leaves him Aditya finally understands the view which he took on life is quite wrong. However as our bae Aditya is arrogant and proud he is unable to tell her the damn truth. So in the end it’s like a paradox. Aditya is torn between love for Astha and loyalty towards his family. It is only when Mr. D says that he considered Astha a daughter than a daughter in law that Aditya understands that maybe he was wrong all along.  So without giving Astha the divorce (she doesn’t want) Aditya decides to give his plan another go by not giving Astha a chance (again).  So let us see how it all turns out to be. Anyhow at the end I really did like the way the screenwriters put in some cuteness to WP through Aditya (that drunk scene) and Astha. This allowed us to remember once in a while that Aditya is also a man with desire and love.

So guys I know I said that I will take a 3 month holiday but I just couldn’t resist writing this. These 1000+ words are my thoughts on Aditya and you guys might not agree with some but hope you like the read. Some of my thoughts run around assumptions and they might and might not turn out to be true. I hope you guys like my take on Aditya. So let’s meet again another time in another point of view. Special Notice to all Blog readers

8:17 AM 0 Comments

Hi guys! How are you guys? Today I am going to bring some bad news to you guys. I am kind of getting stuck here and there in my course. I have come to the decision to give up my blog for the 3 months till I finish my exams in May 17th 2016.

I am not happy about my own decision but I am doing this because I want to give my 100% to my degree. After all I do have a 3 month holiday to write reviews and a lot more for you guys from May to August. I hope you guys aren’t really angry and all, since this is a decision that I had to take. According to my favourite lecturer I am to sacrifice things if I want to gain something of value. I did breeze through my A/L’s and gained good marks without much effort but I don’t think that my degree is something that easy.

So this week’s review of WP might as well be the last one for these few months. I hope it is good but I wrote it in a hurry and I wish it’s good.

Anyhow thanks for your support and encouragement and let’s meet again in 3 months time.

Thank You

Singha Le – Wassane Premaya week 20 – 21 - 22 reviews

8:09 AM 0 Comments

Week – 21st December 2015 to 8th January 2016

Happy New Year guys!!!!! How are all you guys? I am doing fine but I am a bit freaked out about upcoming exams. I started the year with a new hair cut and life seems beautiful. Wassane Premaya (WP) is actually catching up with Dedunnai Adare (DA). So why not get straight to the point and see how WP had changed overnight.

Astha is kidnapped and there is no way she could get away. The kidnapper who watches over Astha tells his friend that it was Aditya who is behind all this. I don’t know why he did this but I think it’s a part of Akila’s plan. Anyhow out of the blue (as expected) Astha breaks free and asks her captivator who ordered the kidnapping. The answer is predictable and so it is Aditya. Astha is quite taken aback.

Meanwhile Aditya goes around searching for Astha things are going around his head. He knows his dad wants Astha back but Aditya doesn’t like the idea. He scolds Astha’s parents and does everything with this extreme anger that even I feel a bit sorry for the people around him. On the other hand Akila gets hold of the papers which Aditya kept of Astha’s father. So things are going to be bad.
Anyhow Astha comes back to Colombo and she comes to her house instead of Aditya’s. I have to point out Astha saw flashbacks of Aditya (cute ones) when she was told Aditya was the one who wanted her kidnapped. This clearly shows that our dear Astha does love her hubby yet.

Astha then later comes back to the D mansion and tells Mr. D all that Aditya did to her. Mr. D is horrified and Aditya is pissed off. This is the reason why I gave the title Singha Le to this post’s title. I loved this scene.

To make things worse life at the D mansion is not the sweetest now. Aditya is having his own problems. On the other hand Sonali is moving on with life with Akila and she kind of trusts him. Mr D has bought her a house to live with Akila. Akila is planning to pay off his debts by pawning the house. Anyhow he gets the shock of his life when he finds out that Mr. D had named the house in Sonali’s name making her the sole owner. So now Sonali could control Akila to some extent.  I loved it when Akila was rough with Sonali as he came in to the house but after he gets to know the naming of the house in the deed he was pretty much a pussy cat.

Anyhow the files Akila stole are used to put Astha’s dad into jail. Astha believes that it is Aditya who is doing all this. When her dad is dragged away to jail Astha goes to bail him out. During this time Aditya takes out a gun and goes searching for Astha. Sonali tries to stop Aditya and even Malini does but Aditya roughly pushes away Sonali. I hate all this fake gun stuff with Aditya and all because its not common in Sri Lanka.

On the other hand when Astha comes home after going out her mom has got down the lawyer. He has brought down the divorce papers and Astha is forced to sign it. Astha however sees all those cute romantic moments between Aditya and her and cringes at the thought of signing the papers. Anyhow in the end the papers are signed and later Astha tells her grandma that she just couldn’t say no to her mom. The very next day the Court sends orders to Aditya about the divorce. Aditya gets so pissed off and he drives to Astha’s place. The irony of the situation is that Astha’s mom just said that their good days are back to stay when Aditya’s vehicle drives into the drive way. This happiness by the J family is on the fact that Astha had found a new job.

I hate Astha’s mother in these episodes because she is being so controlling. She is pretty much not different from Malini. She is causing all the problems for Astha as she is pretty much pissing off Aditya. Astha’s job however is found at one of the companies under Mr. D and Aditya kicks Astha out of the job as revenge. This was pretty bitchy of him (reminds me of some “friends” at my Campus). I loved it when Mr. D tells Aditya that Astha is not his daughter in law but is actually like his daughter. This pissed Aditya off and I really loved it.

Viraj also seems to be seeing his bad days. He goes to buy ice cream for Asha and he sees his wife (Pramitha) and daughter there. Pramitha meets Asha and the little girl sees her father and talks to him. He fakes that he needs to go get his vehicle and runs away from his own daughter. Then later she unlocks her dad’s phone and gives it to Pramitha. She sees Asha’s picture there and questions Viraj. He simply answers that it is a model for a new advertisement and gets away.

Charlie is ordered to be killed by Akila when he threatens to spill the beans to the D family. He does this because Akila betrayed him when he tried to rob some files from Mr. D’s office.  Akila puts the fault on Charlie and Dabare orders him to be killed. However Dabare’s assistant doesn’t kill Charlie because he states that one day the assistant will be killed in the same way. So Charlie runs away as a free man.

Sonali is also badly hit when Akila brings in his mom to control her again. I just feel that she could just hammer that woman because the house is in her name after all. Astha on the other hand finds that her work at office is doubling up. The reason for this is that Aditya is actually her boss and of course she is horrified to know this.

Also guys I have a feeling that Dabare is actually Malini’s brother and that this entire thing he is doing is to take revenge from Mr. D for making his sister’s life a living hell.

My Blog – A boastful examination.

3:02 AM 0 Comments

lifeasasrilankan.blogspot.com is almost 2 years old. I am not speaking of the exact date it was opened but the amount of time it has been an entertainment blog. Life did start a little slow and I had to take some risks and make some stupid mistakes to come all this way. My English didn’t start of as well as it is now. My English was not at all good until I met some inspirational teachers who made my English come up to the standard that it is now enjoying. I took years to master the art of writing and I bloody well did a lot of hard work.

Speaking the truth this blog started off due to two reasons. Firstly I wanted to practice my creative writing. Secondly and most probably the biggest reason was my revenge plan (I am serious). This was made to show that I was able to do things my personal bullies could not. At school my earliest memories involved people bulling me because I was not good at my spelling. This involved teachers and students and I was going through hell. To add to this I was a keen reader which made one particular student remark that” Oh she reads but her English is just worthless”.

I coped with all this (mind you) until 2013 where I found my love for English Literature. I loved what I was reading and what I was writing + acting. Anyhow yet my English didn’t fit the standards. This is where I met my wonderful Literature teacher Sir Mahangu. I have to say he had a way of motivating people and making them work hard. So there started my love for Shakespeare, Wilfred Owen and Christina Rossetti. I take this opportunity to thank him for everything he did to make me be the person I am today.

So this blog may have proven to my dear bullies what I am capable of and I am happy about that (I am not being pathetic). After all it is not for nothing that people say that hard work pays off. Right now my blog is enjoying 67000+ views and a strong following on Google Plus with many readers contacting me on srilankacricket77@gmail.com too.

At the beginning my blog might have been a revenge plan but right now it is a part of my life. I do enjoy writing my reviews and love it when people send in positive comments, emails or messages. So what has my blog achieved more than those 67000+ views? Well let’s see (I am going to boast like hell hereJ ).

Let’s start off with the surprise I got on the 24th December when Saranga Disasekara himself commented on my Wassane Premaya (WP) review on Facebook. He had said that I was doing good work and that I should keep it up. Well many of you might say well what’s so big about it but I do have my reasons. I am personally a big fan of his and as he is the male lead in WP who is better to comment on it. So yes I am very happy with this. This was so nice of him to say and it finally shows that people are reading my reviews (also shows that they know my blog and I exist  J ). So I take this moment to thank his againJ .

The first time however was when Mardava shared my post on Shakya Thenuwara on his personal FB account. This too was very nice of him and something that made me proud to be the admin of lifeasasrilankan.blogspot.com .

There are other numerous feats my blog has achieved (lol J) .

Due to my darling blog I even found two wonderful friends from Aussie who speak to me regularly and are a source of motivation for me. Also recently I have been getting a lot of mails on how I could improve my blog articles and where I might find the resources. Some have even sent mails to me on what sections of my articles I can improve and also detailed insights in to characters which has made me think of new meanings of the dramas I have reviewed. Thank you all.

Also my blog is having a growing fan base with a lot of them coming from Sri Lanka. Others countries such as Aussie, USA, India and New Zealand have also helped increase my page view numbers considerably. Many have even taken the time to stop by and post suggestions and criticisms. I take this opportunity to thank all these people too.

At the end of the day I hope you guys got to learn something out of my shameless boasting (proud mother of a 2 year old baby/blogJ ). After all I have gone through I never could got to this position without hard work. Trust me; I have finished almost 50+ pens just writing Literature answers so as to make them perfect. Hard work pays off that is what I have learnt from Sir Mahangu and through the progress of this blog. Moreover determination, self confidence and motivating people around you are things which are important to survive in life. Sometimes I think this whole blog is a waste of time and energy but at those times I read what my viewers have sent me and finally feel that I may be doing something (even something small) to bring something worth will for people around me.

My last advice is that you should have confidence in yourself and what you do and not give a shit about what other people say or do to/about you. Life is far too short to nurture regret and anger….thank you again for supporting me through page views and for you kind words and encouragements J I hope I didn’t bore you to death with my boastful writing but hey I ended everything in less than 1500 wordsJ. Let us meet again in another review…Farwell till then J J J J J J

About Me

9:24 AM 0 Comments

I am Janathri Weeratunga and I am a first year LLB student of University of London International Programmes. So this blog is my hobby and my part time job (sort of). I started this blog way back when I was doing my O/Ls so that I can get a place where I can practice my writing skills. However with time and my 100% obsession on dramas I converted my darling blog into an entertainment blog.

I am pretty much a drama addict but there is no particular set of dramas I like to watch. As I am a romantic at heart I usually drag my attention to the romance genre. However I am also an action fan and because of that I have an undying love for F&F, Transporter, Onk Bak and Chocolate. So yes I watch Thai, Japanese, Korean and Tamil (my guilty pleasure) movies. After all I am a diehard fan of Surya and Danush. Getting on to Korean dramas I do have quite a list of actors with Kim Soo Hyun being my favorite and others include Lee Min Ho, Lee Jong gi, Bae Soo bin etc…etc. However when it comes to actress I am a fan of Lee Young Ae, Park Hye shin, Suzy etc…etc.

Anyhow now I started this (as I have told before) just as a random blog but now it’s an entertainment blog with an average of 8000 to 10000 viewers a month. So of course I am proud but I really love my blog even without all views. I also happy to say that right now I am celebrating my blog reaching 60000+ views and I thank you for your support.

I usually write a few reviews on Sri Lanka dramas which include Wassane Premaya and Dedunnai Adarai. My reviews on foreign dramas include Queen Seondeok (Janahithakami Rajiniya), Ananthayen Aa Tharu Kumara (My Love from another Star), I Can Hear Your Voice (Hima Thuhina), Moon Embraces the Sun (Hiru Sadu Adarai), City Hunter, IKPND, YHM (Me Adarayai) etc. I am hoping to include many more reviews on dramas in the future. Right now I am in the process of writing more reviews on Korean dramas.

However sadly I am not able to watch all the dramas on TV and review them. A big problem my mother had is that I continuously analyze dramas when everyone is watching them. This makes them very angry but they always say old habits are hard to beat. I am an A/L literature in English student and my life revolved around analyzing, reading between the lines and understanding characters for 3 years. Even after almost 6 months of not doing it I kind of felt that I need to make use of these analyzing skills and ability to foresee the plot. So because of that I started my latest series of reviews on mylifeasasrilankana.blogspot.com. Without giving my parents full on lectures on why a particular drama is good or bad I started writing all of it down on the blog. This was quite a relief to them ( mind you).

So this is me and I hope I didn’t bore you to tearsJ. Please feel free to contact me on srilankacricket77@gmail.com or on my Google Plus account (Janathri Weeratunga). I am open to opinions, criticism or anything else you want to say about my blog.

WTF Week -Dedunnai Adare Week 5 & 6 reviews.

9:14 AM 1 Comments
Weeks : December 7th  2015 - December 18th 2015

Hello guys. I got my holidays from college and I am not going to study at all. I got loads of chocolates as it is Christmas sale in GermanyJ. This week the blog has been given a “new look” with snowflakes falling and a new header and I hope it looks good. It’s a change for Christmas and I hope you guys like it.  My best bud came from Singapore and she has enjoyed her trip. I am so happy for her because she deserves it as she has been a workaholic. These two weeks were quite hectic for me personally as I was studying my ass off for Contract law. Anyhow as I am a bumbling idiot I ended up getting the last part wrongL. However let us put aside my pathetic lack of a social life, let’s dive right into these two weeks reviews.

Baddrajith ( B)

So Baddrajith (B) is proposed to S and he doesn’t quite know it.  As he is a bumbling idiot he just goes along with the plot without even asking Ishini whether she likes his idea. This was so dumb, as in real life B would have questioned this or it would have slipped out of someone’s mouth. Anyhow his mother even plans his engagement and to make things worse it is to happen with his sister’s.  He even goes along with this because he didn’t have the backbone to tell everyone that he is in love with Ishini. In Sri Lanka such men are called gay or the “P” word. I personally hate B’s lack of character.

The kiss - so out of character

S convinces herself that she is in love with B. However she remembers Danush and what he did also. This I believe is solid proof to show that she is not in love with B. However when urged by B’s sister, she even goes along and gives a kiss to B (no worries. We are in Sri Lanka and a kiss amounts to one on the cheek). This was so out of character for S as she is not the type for this kind of child’s play.

The boss ( Prince Charming  - Ishini's to be boyfriend

Danush has his cunning Aunt coming to his house. She and her son has sold everything they owed so that they could live off Danush's money. This son guy is also the guy who broke up with B's sister because of money. Here Danush like an idiot falls to the trap. Anyhow he also says that money is everything and life is money. I hate this isde of his.

Danush -this is a cute pic of his :)

Ishini on the other hand has her own problems. She is to go to Kandy with her boss. Somehow the receptionist has booked them a honeymoon suite. This is met with disgust by both Ishini and the boss. The boss thus ends up sleeping on the sofa (in the reception area) and Ishini in the room. This couple is so cute but guys don’t keep hopes for them. They may not be destined to be together. However I hope the screenwriters have the backbone to change the script from the Indian version. Anyhow in the middle of the night Ishini has this harebrain idea of going to Colombo alone and on the way she is kidnapped (I think this is the season for kidnaps – as it’s the same track on WP). The thugs end up calling S and asking for Rs. 10 laks. Of course Prince Charming (Boss) is going to come to save Ishini.

The damsel in distress - Ishini :)

B’s friend also has this idea of giving Ishini one of B’s love letters. To do this he makes use of S’s little brother who charges Rs.50 to give the letter to Ishini. However S sees the letter and she cunningly takes it away from the little guy. Sooner or later the cat is going to jump out of the bag. Life does seem to revolve around small things in the DA world. Let’s meet again in another week’s review J J J J J J.

The friend who kind of screws everything up.

Romance in the air – Wassane Premaya 18 & 19 week review

8:47 AM 0 Comments

Week: December 7th 2015 –18th December 2015

It does seem like our dear screenwriters are reading my blogJ . However that is only a one in a million (Ne-yo) chance of that happeningJ. Anyhow this week we did have some romantic moments which were quite cute mind you. I do see some hope for this drama after all. I know that the romance they showed was just glimpse of the real thing but I think it will gradually make progress. Maybe it was the sudden success of Dedunnai Adare that opened the eyes of the screenwriters. Whatever it is I have to say “Dear screenwriters keep it up.” Let’s get to the reviews J :

So I have to tell you guys that this drama is a copy of the Indian series “Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon… Ek Baar Phir”. Yes that’s the second season of the much loved “Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon?” Sadly I have not watched this drama and there are no online reviews so there is not even a hint as to what kind of a story WP will become. Anyhow the basic facts are very similar. There is an Aditya like guy who marries for revenge but I the end falls head over heels in love with Astha ( coincidently both female characters have the same name). The female lead of the drama hates her husband but later chooses to stay with him because she is in love with him. So I think the same ending will be given to WP and if my guesses are right everything will be wrapped up in 584 episodesJ.

This week Mr. D wants Aditya to go with Astha on a business trip. This trip happens to be a faraway one and Astha is disgusted. Aditya however does not see much wrong in the trip until Astha threatens not to go.  This leads to a usual fight. Surprisingly Malini is standing outside their door eavesdropping on every word. However instead of hatred towards Astha I saw pity in her eyes. It was as though Malini understood what Astha was feeling. There was some kind of comradeship between them even when they spoke.

Akila on the other hand is having a hard time from his debtors. Unable to cope all of it he goes to Sonali. He simply asks her to give him a loan to pay off all his debt. As Sonali is not strong enough to ask her dad the money, she goes to Astha. She asks Astha to ask the money from Aditya. Astha is left helpless as she is obviously not going to ask a loan from Aditya. Sonali seems to fall in to Akila’s trap head on. I say this because she tells Astha that Akila has really changed. She says that the proof for this change is that he is begging for money from her and he would have never done that if he was in the right state of mind.

This week we also see Astha being kidnapped by Akila’s cronies and things seem bad. However I really liked the romance that was in the drama. This time we had a little trip back in time to the time when our A & A couple were in “love”. We see Aditya joking about there being snakes in the fields. This freaks out Astha who runs towards Aditya (lol).   Then there was also the cute scene where Aditya carries Astha towards the vehicle. Note here that Aditya’s face showed obvious signs of love. However he quickly veils his emotions with his angry face.  Anyhow this lovely cuteness is short lived. In the very next scene Astha is kidnapped and Aditya thinks she ran away.

The vehicle is parked somewhere and Astha is taken away. I really don’t understand why the police didn’t notify the D family of this vehicle. This is just stuff that drags dramas for about 600 episodes. To make things worse Aditya is being an asshole. He runs to Astha’s house and blames them for hiding Astha (this was so dumb). Aditya’s father thinks further and believes that there is foul play.

Anyhow according to script I believe Aditya gets caught for kidnapping his wife and Akila runs free. Things will become worse – don’t worry about things; it’s going to be even worse. Astha tries to get away by pointing the gun (typical drama puff) but things turn around. Anyhow let’s meet next week for another review. Anyway life goes on guys… life goes on… J J J J J J
